RaoulDuke79
Man this sucks. I really enjoyed his shows and his book Kitchen Confidential. Very sad news. This one hurts. God damn, mental illness really needs to be front and center in the things that we as a country need to address. Johnny Hammersticks
Very sad. Having grown up in a restaurant, Kitchen Confidential is one of the most influential books I have ever read in my life. Such a wise man. This sucks.
BuffaloBill
I was absolutely stunned as the guy seemed to be living his own dream life. I guess the reality was that he was struggling with his own demons. May he RIP.

Mark80
When you have been around mental illness for a majority of your life you kind of can get a feel for it in other people at times. For some reason, he fit that mold to me. Can't put it into words, but I can remember having a sense that he fell into this bucket while watching his shows and, unfortunately, this is not shocking to me at all. Such a shame. LeGOATski
His daughter is only 11 and they supposedly had a great relationship. That gives you no reason to stick around for a little while? Incomprehensible. 1

Uncle Joe
I always though alcohol would be his demise (maybe it contributed?) Anyways he always appeared to live life to the fullest until the end. RIP.
