You should start a thread specifically about California fires if the discussion in the 6-7 year old thread troubles you. Many people in the other 49 states think California is fun to laugh at with the way they go about their business. That might be a reason for ≈ 100 of the pages. 
 

You cut and paste directly from Newsome’s website (without linking for some reason) to let everyone know how much he has done and spent. You are standing up for the guy. No need to pretend otherwise.

Show me the "excuses" I made for anyone?  I expect NC to make stuff up, but I expect better from the other posters.  I'm not a democrat, so how do I "look silly".  The topic I'm debating is the outrage at the wildfires, that suddenly appeared after trump won.  Everything on Fox will be hunky dory for 4 years, except for the stuff that happens in blue states.  There will be no caravans, no inflation or gas prices, etc.  It's all a joke of a game, and sadly I think you understand this, but still feel compelled to defend it.  Nice projection though.

That was to dispute, I believe Orlando's, idea that they weren't "doing enough".  I have no idea if he's doing a good job on wildfires, because I wouldn't know the first thing about climate as it relates to fires, and what measure are the best bang for the buck.  You, Fox news and all the right wingers won't admit that though.  Orange man bad=Newsom bad

And yeah, I remember seeing the MSM stop the Wuhan death counters once Biden took Office.  Ignoring there was a crisis at the border and blaming it on Republicans "pouncing."  That Biden wasn't senile and it was "cheap fakes."  That there was no inflation and it was transitory.  It's what happens, except the Dems have (or at least had) a lot of mouthpieces.

 

And not sure what your issue is here.  It's a fact that they made firetrucks from fire stations in Oregon wait to pass their inspections when time was of the essence.  That just tells me that they have no clue about the real world.
