How do you feel about Soros receiving our nation’s highest civilian award from President Brandon? My understanding is that he dabbled a little bit in the Los Angeles area justice system.

Is Soros in the room with us right now?

Is the Soros question also one you prefer not to answer? I didn’t mean to put you in a spot.

No, the police did not need additional funding at the cost of fire funding.

Thank you for answering a question heretofore unasked. Odd. But since you have, any numbers to back that up (like crime data)or are you just going with feelings today?

That last bit is a rhetorical question.

Maybe police wouldn’t need extra money if they didn’t have to keep paying settlements for their bad aim

Excellent deflection from the topic at hand, though. Sort of like how you never answered yesterday’s question about what GOP policies would be more successful in fighting wildfires than what is currently underway.

Pathetic.

Fortunately though, California officials are laser-focused on resolving this crisis.

And when I say laser-focused, what I really mean is this:

CA Democrat Becomes Sputtering Mess When Asked Why Assembly Is Holding Special Session on Trump As Fires Rage.

That’s because yesterday’s question was childish drivel. The California track record here isn’t very good. Next man/woman/trans up regardless of political party. The Bass/Newsome team had their chance and have failed.

Okay so what would a GOP government do better in this specific situation? Besides whine and throw a tantrum like you, of course.

One need to do no more than watch her on tv the last few days.

Now you have put yourself in a pickle. It’s clear that admitting wrong is not really in your wheelhouse but I must inform you that she has been Mayor since 2022. See what happens when you feel the need to defend party at all cost? Tsk, tsk.

If the question was childish drivel yesterday, it is the same today. Nobody is telling you not to be a Frankish Jr and defend your party at all costs. I encourage it for entertainment reasons.

Why, I’m starting to get the impression that the GOP has no actual solution beyond whining and pointing fingers!

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻🤦🏻‍♀️Maybe he read that on a reliable mainstream media outlet.

I am really amused by his lame attempt at diversion, since the last GOP mayor in LA was over 24 years ago.

1) Double fire department budget and fund mitigation efforts.

2) Incentivize construction of buildings more suitable to the climate such as concrete.

3) Require native species to be planted rather than costly and invasive eucalyptus and other kinds.

4) Roll back beef subsidies. The cattle industry uses more water than any other industry in the United States.

I agree with 1. Most of the cattle comes from Texas and Oklahoma, not sure how that would help California. Good luck with the others.

No.

This is just another attempt at diversion from your own poor attempts

You have no real interest in honest replies.

Your history demonstrates no respect for other posters facts, just derision.

* I am sure the response to this will be just as shallow.
