You have filled the role of the late Billstime rather admirably - minus the memes (thankfully) but also minus the ability to construct a coherent sentence. Keep plugging.

And you Habs not filled any role, just a complete waste of sperm.

I gave your prior post some thought and will admit to being inspired to do better. I will follow in your kind and caring footsteps. Thanks for the reality check, buddy!

Yes I know it was out of commission. One of your buddies posted that the other day. Is that all you got out of that article? Even the guy quoted in the article you posted said it didn't have much affect.

but Marty Adams, a former general manager of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, said it is unlikely to have made a significant difference in the battle against the Palisades Fire, which burned through 20,000 acres as of Friday afternoon.

I was not sure who I had responded to when I posted this article the other day, I figured you would be smart enough to recognize that while 100 million gallons might not be enough to fight 20k acres it would have done wonders when it was only a few hundred of acres which is when the water ran out. But let me ask a simple question, if 100 million gallons aren't effective how are a few thousand of gallons effective when dropped by a plane?

Did you read the article? I'm not the engineer that was quoted dipshit. You people need to educate yourself. He said it would have helped a little but not for long. Besides wurst are you going to do? Crucify someone because a reservoir was down for maintenance? Your isis pager is about to go off.

You should turn on the TV and watch people helping people. It would do you some good. You are just a garbage human being.

You're way worse than BillStime. Sad.

You rejoiced that LA is burning down. Admit it.

Maybe you should ask the engineer that was quoted.

Or maybe you should go to Cali and run for office. You could tell them all how to do there jobs because you sold insurance 20 years ago.

Turn on all the faucets and flush all the toilets in your house and report back what happens to the water pressure. (if you are not on a well pump) until then stfu!

From the LA wide fire thread on the main board. Well well we'll.

"Biggest need is the winds to stay slow.     You can then get a fire under control.   You just can't if the winds are high and it's as dry as it is.

We normally get some rainfall in Oct/November/December which ends fire season, but none this (last) year.   We'd normally have 3 inches by now, which is a lot in the desert and wets things down.   Usually the biggest problem with the Santa Ana winds is the pollen which gets blown in from the desert and sets allergies ablaze.  Not houses."

Can anyone explain how it is these private firefighters are capable of accessing enough water to protect a house but they can't get water for the public firefighters?

They have a machine that taps right into the clouds and convertes the vapor into water so they don't have to wait for God to do it.

Wait… I thought the government controlled the weather and that’s why they were sending hurricanes into Republican states. And can someone tell me about all the failure of leadership in Republican North Carolina that led to so much damage and death there after Helene?

On a serious note, now they are saying that if the fire investigators determine arson to be the cause, that may limit or negate compensation paid to homeowners from their insurance companies. That would absolutely suck.

This.

4th has claimed:

To be apolitical while simultaneously being a blatant TDS addled partisan.

To have never voted in a single election in his life while telling others how moronic they are for using their vote differently than he would. If he ever actually voted.

Only came to PPP to kill time in the off-season, yet has remained here throughout the Bills season posting  with great regularity.

Three strikes and you're a troll.

Ignore.

How does the fact that the fire was set by an arsonist  potentially limit or negate compensation to homeowners from their insurance companies?

I’m sure it all depends on the fine print details of the policy purchased by the home owner.

Point by point- I am not happy that California has turned into this crap show, it used to be the height of being American and now it has turned terrible. Defending what Cali has become is akin to defending the Bills during the drought, it should be unacceptable. The engineer who was quoted is the guy responsible for the reservoir being empty, he might not be the best guy to ask what the ramifications are for his lack of performance. I never claimed I sold insurance, and don't want to move California but I appreciate you recognizing that I would be better than the dopes in charge now. As for your experiment I do wonder if the people who built the hydrants expected that reservoir of a mere 100 million gallons to assist the water flow of the neighborhood, maybe that is the issue
