It's one of the things that makes trying to help a relative or friend with these issues so very very frustrating and soul-crushing for those trying to help. you are quite a darned decent moderator. i liked you before but... thanks Hap 1
BUFFALOKIE Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Dude was one of the best players on our team. He has troubles like the rest of us. Good guy according to most people who actually know him. Be well Richie! Get it together, and keep it together. For yourself, not a bunch of fair weather fans! Peace!

Mickey Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 All I can say is that there is probably a lot going on that we don't know anything about in terms of why he left. In the end though, he played his tail off while he was here and earned every penny he was paid...and then some. I wish him the best no matter what is next for him. 2

I think we are well-past "suspected." Fair enough. I know plenty of individuals who suffer from mental health issues that somehow manage to refrain from hurling weights at people from across a gym. Who manage to refrain from yelling racial epitaphs, shirtless, across a crowded night club. Ritchie has long (since before college) been known to be a jerk to others including his teammates. His transgressions have been well-documented. Ritchie is an a-hole with apparent mental health issues. That better?

They are peaceful chimps, however, and rarely harm or threaten others with the exception of the occasional poop flinging. Okay, so let’s give RI the benefit of the doubt and say that the gym incident was consequent to him experiencing an acute psychotic episode. Fine. But how do you explain the rest of his schittbag behaviors over the course of his life? Prolonged or obtuse psychosis? The guy’s a d**k. Face it. 1

I hope he is ok and I hope he hangs around in Buffalo, it would be cool to see Cog's in a bar. How do you know 'it would be cool'? Might be the worst day of your life. I for one would walk the other way if I ever saw him. I hope his mental state improves but I think he has been an A1 !@#$ his entire life.

Of coure Okie manners and NY manners are not the same, so I would not expect everyone to agree.

To each their own, hope you and Richie have a good time if you ever meet. 1 1
benderbender Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 If stays retired, I wish his liver, kidneys, and most importantly his brain the best of luck.

machine gun kelly Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I’m sorry he is going through this, but also is not stable enough to be on the team. He most likely will never play again. I appreciate his three years here, but regardless of a mental health issue, everyone is responsible for themselves, and by the way before getting into business I was a Licensed psychotherapist and treated for years in the 90’s. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve compassion, but is also too risky to have him on the team. People who do have serious mental health issues often go often go off their meds. He he was a great contributor towards our #1 running game two years in a row, and if not for Dennison’schange to the scheme of. The line. i wish him the. Best of luck with getting truly healthy. He needs loved ones who can help him as well as the professionals.

Better a crowded bar than a dark alley, I suppose, though regardless of the cause of his latest episode he might do well to leave the bar scene behind.
C.Biscuit97 Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I’ve never seen a player get such a pass from fans. I wonder why. ? I’m sure the same people would be defending RI and “issues” if he kneeled in support of his teammates. 1
