The funniest thing about the TDS sufferers is how oblivious they are to their own condition. They actually think it was their idea to hate Trump. The truth is they passionately feel what their cult leader told them to and have absolutely zero independent thought on any of this.

If he were the exact same person with all the same comments and policies but had a D next to his name they'd be singing his praises.

Hence the reactivity.  Some of the notable afflicted predicted we'd have the train cars and death camps up and running by now.

He pretty much gutted the EPA rolling back important protections about what is / is not allowed to pollute our air & water.

He got rid of the most important parts of Dodd Frank that were put in place to prevent the banks from making risky bets and causing another financial crisis like the one in '08.

He got rid of the individual mandate which starting next year will cause health insurance premiums for everyone who still has health insurance to rise by at least 20%

He has pulled America out of the Paris Climate Accord (making us the only country in the world not part of the deal now that even Syria has joined)

He has pulled America out of the Iran nuclear deal making it easier for Iran to develop nuclear weapons, and telling the world America no longer honors it's commitments.

He has placed doubt about whether or not Russia interfered in our 2016 elections when there should be none (unanimous agreement by 17 government agencies that it happened) and refused to impose sanctions on Russia passed 98-2 by Congress to punish them for election meddling, allowing not only Russia but any other country to try again in 2018, 2020, and beyond.

As commander in chief he has done nothing to safeguard our democracy from future attacks.

He has passed tax cuts that are unfunded and disproportionately help large businesses/corporations while most Americans see little or no benefit (or will see their taxes go up)  He inherited a strong economy so we aren't seeing the full effect of that yet, but eventually the debt he is piling up combined with less revenue from corporate taxes will cause the deficit to become an unsustainable percentage of GDP and it will not be pretty for anyone.

He intentionally tries to divide Americans along pre-existing fault lines (such as Charlottesville, NFL player protests etc) to help himself politically but bringing american discourse to an all time low.

He has lied 3300+ times since taking the oath of office diminishing the office of the presidency, and leaving us as a country in a situation where opinions/political loyalties appear to be more important than facts.

He almost helped get a pedophile elected to the United States Senate.

He insulted and attacked an American Senator and war hero while he was dying of brain cancer, and insulted two gold star families.  Then disinvited the super bowl champs from visiting the white house and tried to say it's because they aren't patriotic enough.

I normally reserve this for gator, but you've earned it:

Very little of your list of grievances has any foundation in reality (not to mention truth.)

Only 20%? That's pretty good relative to what Obamacare has done over the past eight years.

Half of those are legislative, and Congress' responsibility.  The president doesn't pass laws...at least, not since 2016.

The NFL can expect more sagging ratings.

.....and like how the LW lemmings blindly blame everything wrong in this world on Trump, this too, will be his fault.

The real question will be, can Trump manage the "movement"* from jail like Hitler did ?

Will Trump tweet from a jail cell?

*Bowl movement, really

You'll notice that not one liberal can tell you how their lives have been made worse by Trump since he took office.

it's given them a chance to be extremely bitter and get their piss all heated up for half of their waking existence

probably inflicts their dreams as well

they should be grateful for this purpose in life

Out of the 10 most watched TV broadcasts in 2017, 7 were NFL games. Their ratings could drop and the NFL would still dominate viewership and ratings in the US.

gb, the question is whether "winning" on network TV is worth it to sponsors.

compare the number of viewers last year to what was considered a flop on network TV in the past.

I know this comes as a surprise to dupes like you, but the daily diatribes on Huffpoo and Vox don’t actually count as “news”.

I’m pretty sure networks and sponsors would take 30-50 million viewers for playoff games and 110 million viewers for the Super Bowl. Some people believe Trump and his loyal followers will end the NFL’s appeal in America, they are wrong.

Aren't Trump's loyal followers the vast majority of the NFL fanbase who actually watch games each week, not just the playoffs or a Super Bowl party?

The regular season as a loss leader was not part of the design of sports TV contracts.

Hey stupid, how about you go to a different source then?? It's all still out there. Does absolutely every piece of information have to be backed up with a source just because you guys know basically nothing aside what Hannity tells you?

My point is even with all of the boycotts and snowflakes burning their season tickets last year, NFL ratings and viewership still dominated all other shows and sports. Even if their ratings go down a little, they are still vastly better than anything else on TV. The Trump effect is real but it is a lot smaller than most people realize. The NFL is still a juggernaught and will continue to be the king of ratings and viewers in America.

There are plenty of us over 50 still watching TV on sports, the ads getting into our consciousness.

It's a steeply declining breed though.... no future in this at all...

The average age of someone watching baseball is well past 50. I've seen it as high as 60.

It's over Johnny.
