26CornerBlitz Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 GROY EMBRACING NEW OPPORTUNITIES WITH BILLS Largely a reserve guard and center his first three years with the Bills, Ryan Groy looks to land a starting job and help to fill a leadership void on offense. 3
row_33 Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 long may you run, Sir! just keep showing up every day and do your best. 1
Kwai San Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 I been a 110% supporter of Ryan alllllll along. He will be part of the glue holding this line together..... 1
Rocky Landing Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 He's certainly been popular on this site, and most have said that he did very well covering for Wood when he was out. But, I have to wonder how he was behind Ducasse, and Miller on the depth chart as a guard? What did McD see that others haven't?

I have not seen much of him playing guard in his time with the Bills. Perhaps he is a better center than guard? Edited May 29, 2018 by Uncle Joe

Perhaps he is a better center than guard? That could certainly be, although one would assume he would then be listed as a center. I'm just wondering if maybe he isn't as good as people seem to think.
Augie Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 We certainly needs some people to step up and provide a pleasant surprise on the OLine....why not start here! 1

Something like that.

Talk is for salesmen imo. Peace.

Well, I’m not taking his word for it, but I’m hoping for some guys to develop and maybe benefit from a different scheme. Time will tell! We certainly need some help there. I suspect the OLine will be a high priority next offseason. In the meantime, I’m hoping for pleasant surprises. (It’s all I can do!)
SoCal Deek Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Groy will be fine. I'm glad to see him get his shot. I think the biggest challenge for the O Line this year will be a new offensive coordinator and quarterback.
Nanker Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 I'd like to see him hit the weight room a bit more. His arms aren't very big.
nedboy7 Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 When do we start bashing Groy and making fun of him? Now?
JimKellyTryouts Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 If he doesn't get a starting job, the only logical conclusion is that he slept with McD's wife. This feels like Urbik/Pears deja vu. 1
