JPL7 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 (edited) Top LB's of all-time Though, unless I missed it, The Biscuit is not in the Pro Football HOF. Though, if my memory serves me right, he is in the college HOF, right? The rankings are just laughable... Singletary and Lambert outside of the top 10?? Derrick Thomas # 2? Ha! Fun read though. Royale with Cheese Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Derrick Thomas at #2 isn’t a stretch IMO. I agree Singletary should be higher along with Ray Lewis and Junior Seau. I would probably have Lewis #2 over Thomas but Thomas would still be top 5.

He was taken off the field in the AFC Championship game because he was getting trucked play after play...
NewEra Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Ray Lewis not in the top 5 is a crime. He’s number 2 imo. Singletary should also be top 10. 4

I hardly recall last year. and i don't just mean the Bills season ! 3
Dablitzkrieg Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 It also said Bennett is in the HoF. Did I miss something? 2

I'm not saying he wasn't a great player but I doubt if another player on that list was EVER taken off the field in such an important game because he was getting manhandled. 36 minutes ago, NewEra said: Ray Lewis not in the top 5 is a crime. I think he's probably third behind Butkus. Butkus was just such a monster in his time.

With all due respect, no way in hell is Derrick Thomas a #2 LB of all time. Shut, ZACH Thomas was as good as Derrick. Just my opinion, but jeesh Not even top 10 Edited May 25, 2018 by BuffAlone 1
BillsPride12 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Although I think it's fair he never made the Hall of Fame...it's an absolute crime Biscuit hasn't been put on the Wall of Fame yet at New Era...He was right up there with Kelly, Bruce, Thurman and Andre as a face of the franchise in his playing days but as years have passed it seems like most have forgotten about the impact he had during the glory years. 2 1

Bfanlc Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Don't let the chief's hate blind you guys. Dt was one of the greatest lbs of all time. Had he lived longer his records would be astronomical. 1
row_33 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Lambert got all the media hype but Ham got the respect of coaches and players, and this list as well
vincec Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Obviously it's incredibly subjective, but I agree with those taking issue with Thomas as #2. Maybe top 10... maybe.
Alaska Darin Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/chiefs-suspend-lb-derrick-thomas/ "Although he signed a five-year, $27 million contract extension before last season, Thomas' role this year has been reduced to pass-rushing duties because he is so ineffective against the run."
Fadingpain Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Thomas was too much of a pass rushing specialist (and he was fantastic at that) to be regarded #2 best all around LB of all time! No, Biscuit (not "the" Biscuit) is not in the HOF. Agree Singletary should be way up there. Aside from being a great LB, the guy is the personification of "leader", "warrior", and "team before self". I dream of having a Bills roster filled with Singletary types.
frostbitmic Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 IMO Chris Spielman should've been ranked higher than he was ... He spent a couple of years with the Bills ... Awesome player.
