Shaw66 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 If you remember Terence McGee, or if you don't, take a minute and watch the greatest kickoff return that didn't go for a touchdown in the history of the league. The guy could play corner, too. 5 1 1
Bobby Hooks Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 (edited) Our best kick return ever accounts for zero points..? Hmm.. does the term “Billsy” work here? Edited May 24, 2018 by Bobby Hooks 1 2 1

st pete gogolak Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 What's crazy and maddening about the play is that at the 30 second mark of the film, the chances of McGee scoring a touchdown on the play have to be about 99%. He's got three blockers in front of him and one Saint left to beat. The Saint gets absolutely crushed and McGee (who has to be absolutely beyond gassed at this point) just has to move a bit to avoid the guy on the ground but gets tripped up trying to go over him. Yes, that is incredibly Billsy! 1
JohnBonhamRocks Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I remember watching this and yes - so very Billsy.

1st&ten Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 If I remember right he was coming on as a corner back & then the injury bug hit him.
NewEra Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I thought he was our best player for a year or 2. He was electric with the ball in his hands
Figster Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 (edited) Thanks OP, While we're on the subject of good CB's I would like to give an honorable mention to Jabari Greer. Edited May 24, 2018 by Figster 3
Ramza86 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I remember that play live. That was one hell of a c-ck tease.
Klaista2k Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I remember watching this live. Still unbelievable that he didn't score on that play.
fridge Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I've posted this in the past before as well. It's one of my favorite Bills moments for so many reasons. That he didn't score makes it all that more memorable to me. McGee is probably the most underrated KR in NFL history.
bouds Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 McGee was !@#$ing awesome, just a shame he got injured. Remember watching that return live, it was so Bills. Peters was insanely good on ST as well, what a player.
metzelaars_lives Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 You'd have to be pretty young not to remember Terence McGee.
bouds Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 (edited) Think of all the great cornerbacks who were pretty good return men in this league, McGee is still the only one to take a KR and Int to the house in the same game. Did it against the Bengals. Edited May 24, 2018 by bouds
