Coach Tuesday Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Waste of a roster spot - wouldn't be shocked if he's not on the final 53. Maybe they'll trade him for a conditional 6th in August. 1 3
Heitz Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Current Status: Freaking Out Man! O_O Quote @4JoshReed #Bills WR Zay Jones has knee surgery and will miss the rest of spring. No timetable for his return. McDermott Believes he will play this season 1
elroy16 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Pretty disappointing. Hopefully he's ready for the beginning of training camp.

BuffAlone Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I didn't realize he had a knee issue. Do we know the severity of the injury or the magnitude of the surgery?
aristocrat Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 probably from kicking in the door. dude better get his stuff together.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Another BUST! Not Perry Tuttle, but turning into something embarrassing. We had better find a way to sign Dez Bryant and FAST. 2 2

Too bad they didn't identify it until OTAs. He could have had the surgery two months ago. It would be great if he gets back for training camp. He needs. I'm higher on Jones than a lot of folks here. Lots of rookie receivers struggle, so I don't think that what we saw in 2017 is necessarily what we're going to see in 2018 and going forward. He showed several good things last year, and I get the sense that he's really committed to getting the job done, that he's the kind of guy McD likes. The drops were horrible, but both in college and some his later games last season, he's shown he can catch the ball. 4
CommonCents Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Kerley would be a better option in the slot and Zay doesn’t have the skill set to be a plus player on the outside. No loss. Find a #2

Wasn't it the knee that was injured on that play in the Jets game, where he'd beaten his man going deep and the defender tripped him to prevent a big gain? He was never right after that game. 3 1
Badanswer Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Could be from that hit last year....looked bad but he came back in 2nd half but was out a few weeks after if I remember correctly
BringBackOrton Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Following the Shaq/Ragland playbook. He won't be here in 2019. 1
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Not using Stevie Johnson as an off season conditioning coach, we hope...
