So the DOJ and FBI will give a meeting to a partisan, pro-Trump group by Trump appointed officials about an investigation that concerns all Americans concerned about criminal activity of the President. 

 

After that Democrats will be allowed into a second meeting. Why can't they allow representatives of the majority of the people in the first meeting? Will they be turning over information to the defense that can help them undermine the investigation? What is this all about? It's crazy and wrong. Just hold one meeting. This smells of corruption. If Bill Clinton's meeting on the tarmac was so wrong, how could this not be way worse?

If you were anyone else, I'd be saying you were going out of your way to say stupidshit. The dems had no interest in this meeting and have been avoiding their proper role of oversight ever since it became apparent that the real crime here is what the IC and others have committed. The republicans didn't want them there because they historically leak information and try to bend it for their purposes. BTW, just for your enlightenment, Trump doesn't appoint congressmen and/or senators.

Today I learned that it's nefarious for the leaders of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to meet with, and be briefed by, the agencies they run.
