Haha Schumer was made for the new stadium press conference. This is his baby I am sure he will pull out all the whistles to let the public know he had a role in a private orgs new play toy rather then doing literally anything else. Byron Brown will also be there because he loves press conferences.

purple haze Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 The prequel to negotiations. Nothing to be gleaned except Kim is letting the world know the Pegula's ain't footing the entire bill. No surprise there.

PIZ Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Couldn't we just not order the Pumpkin Spice Latte when we get our tickets?

The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I thought I remember reading back when the ownership debacle was happening, that Jacobs was considering building a stadium since he can't own the team. Any truth to that?

Sure and the Bills will be glad to have playoff games in other cities like Detroit if they promise to also pay for us to have our preseason games there.

It would most likely be multi purpose. Attract concerts. Super Bowl. Probably an annual college bowl game. National conventions. Not saying I support it, but it would be much more than just Bills games played there.
LABILLBACKER Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 just know LA's new $2B stadium is now a year late and will cost 4.2 billion to finish. Just keep renovating New Era and be thankful the Bills are still there. 2 2
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Buffalo can’t and shouldn’t be asked to support a new stadium. replace a building built for $22 million (200 million in today’s dollars) with a 1.4 billion dollar replacement? I just don’t get the value proposition...

Exactly why the hell would they come out and say they will front the entire new stadium. They will build a new stadium but with the help of the state and NFL and will be built right near the casino

If they do, it'll be a multipurpose domed/retractable roof stadium, designed to attract a Super Bowl, College Bowl games, etc. Buffalo will never get a Super Bowl. They do not have enough hotel rooms and neither putting hotel barges on Niagara river or using hotel rooms in Niagara Falls, Canada count.
