machine gun kelly Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 My absolute favorite analyst who covered the NFL for over 25 years. We all retire someday but he will be missed by many including me. 1 1

CommonCents Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Breer is taking over, I have grown to like him. I think this change will be for the better. 1
T master Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 He's not retired he just got a bigger contract at another company probably after 25 yrs in one spot wanted a change & with his creds he can go just about anywhere he wanted to . Kind of like when Peyton Manning moved on from the colts alls he needed to do was decide which team was the best fit & who had the biggest check book !!

BrotherChazz Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 The MMQB will continue, and King will continue to write a Monday column, albeit under a different name for NBC.
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Are the mods going to combine this with the 'Incognito retirement' thread? 1

metzelaars_lives Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 I'm a big Peter King fan but I just read his blurb from his final MMQB column in the Buffalo News article where he touched on Frank Reich and he referred to his "bad pick-six" in the third quarter of the comeback game. Wasn't it a perfectly thrown ball that hit (Keith McKeller?) right in the hands and bounced into the hands of Bubba McDowell?

On the fourth play from scrimmage, Reich’s pass went through the hands of tight end Keith McKeller to Houston’s Bubba McDowell, who returned it 58 yards for a touchdown."
