Rebel101 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Teams all have nicknames on their hats some refer to their fans such as the seahawks. I would much rather ours said Bills Mafia then Billieve
Bangarang Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Haven’t slept since the draft. Glad it’s not just me 4 12
Heitz Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 The Pegula's don't strike me as the types that want a bunch of fans running around in "Mafia" hats. Especially when they're breaking tables, lighting themselves on fire and breaking bones. The real question should be who at New Era is designing such ugly-ass hats? Those 3D logos and letters gots to go... 5 1 1
Gugny Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I spent 8 nights in jail because I beat the piss out of my son as soon as I saw those hats. 2 6
4_kidd_4 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Because not all of us signed up for the, ahem, “mafia”. 1
boyst Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 The mafia thing is the gayest thing ever. Gayer than a soccer playing Justin Bieber. 5 1 3 1
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Nowhere near as pissed as I am about our lack of interest in Jay Cutler. 5
Buffalo716 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 (edited) I Billieve Baby! I sold New Era hats for a while and a lot of the draft caps usually suck lol They get cheesier every year Edited May 21, 2018 by Buffalo716 2
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I’d jump through a burning table for a hat that read “Bills Mafia”. Just now, Buffalo716 said: I Billieve Baby! I can see why the Pegula don’t actively promote “Bills Mafia” . It’s not officially a slogan of the team and it’s popularity runs with younger crowds alot of 60+ people don’t like the mafia association... it’s a newer term also first used by like nick Barnett when he arrived via FA its not 30+ years old with a lot of tradition
aceman_16 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I wouldn't buy one.... HOWEVER, most successful companies don't make things that don't sell. If this "branding" doesn't sell, then they won't do it again. 1

MJS Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I do hate the "Billieve" slogan, but I'm not going to let a hat affect my mood. 1
Jauronimo Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Honestly, I didn't even notice the draft day hats as it was happening but seeing them today I am filled with rage. Not regular, rap music offends me and kids are skateboarding on the sidewalks rage, but someone just cut me off today on I-10 and my big mac doesn't look like the commercial, visceral f@#$ing rage!!! 1 2
