You are really seeing them coming out of the woodwork... They are empowered.  No doubt they feel like they are helping and are good people... But really?

It's really scary the judgment that people can have in such a traumatic situation. My intention is not to mock this individual or even condemn him. As the clip shows he wanted to do something helpful and show his support to the victims in this slaughter. I have no doubt that he is a good fellow. It's just seems that the world that he is in is in certain areas impenetrable to rational thought and discourse. When I saw the clip all I can say is WTF!

I know.  He looked confused. (He was) ready to cry.  I actually felt sorry for him.  He walked away... Quietly.

He wanted to help... Feel important.

I don't think he went to the scene because he wanted show how important he was. I think that he genuinely wanted to do something to help. He was moved to act without really knowing what to do. My sense is that he is a good guy who wanted to do something to help the victims of a  slaughter in his community.  When he was confronted by someone who asked the simple question what are you doing and trying to accomplish with that gun and flag he was carrying  he was at a loss for words. What it came down to was that he was acting without thinking. And it appears by the way he quickly left the scene that he did come to the realization that he was doing something really dumb.

No.  I work with 10 out of 13 who think differently... For the past 3 decades.

Sorry Snowflake, not in a Bubble in that regard.

You've worked with 13 people over 3 decades?

Who is in a bubble?

His wife works for the school district.  Yeah, but I do agree what you are saying.

You are right.  I duly noted that, notice my wording.  But through the years, very different political beliefs.  Simply very politically conservative.

I’m lost on that one. So I will laugh with you. Yay, some queen is on welfare!

Golden Knights = Welfare Queens.  Even expansion Seattle wants same sweetheart deal now.

I guess, now you can enjoy what the people in ghetto feel when other peeps work and kick in.

And Bill Clinton raped women, and Hillary tried to ruin their lives.

Lol, did they also bone porn stars while their wife was at home nursing a child?

Point being, sweeping generalizations (right v. left and so on) are never accurate, and I can’t stand when they get thrown around in either direction.

Yes, the Left is the root of lack of morals, while we have a sitting Righty president embroiled in porn star payoff scandals. So very pious.

It’s OK when it’s “your team”, but simply unacceptable when it’s the “other side”. Weak.

Ah, yes. But this would be like turning a welfare check into a million dollar business. Where most use their welfare checks to be lazy and leach, we used our check to better ourselves, overachieve, and prove everyone wrong. When Vegas sports books have you at 500/1 to win the Stanley Cup at the begging of the season, then I’m gonna guess that you didn’t think we had an all star team either. How many goals did Karlsson have last year? 6? Yup, there’s an all-star.

Gun control was that the topic...or the obvious direction the topic dives into?

Amazing how it is only gun free zones that get targeted. Didn’t these murderers read those signs?! At least this last shooter used that horrible AR 15, and not the acceptable revolver and shotgun. Right? Let’s just take all guns away like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and every other tyrannical dictator did. I bet the Jews in Germany were happy they gave up their guns in 1930s Germany.

Wow really how about having an actual conversation about it.

There is clearly a place between where we are now and taking all the guns away.

There actually isn’t. The end game is total gun control. This is an actual conversation. How many school shooters used extended clips and bump stocks? How many school shootings would have been prevented by proposed gun legislation? And vice versa, how many lives have been saved by citizens using personal firearms?

Now that I think about it, that kid that shot up the school a couple months ago wasn’t disqualified to purchase a gun because Obama made a law that discouraged schools from reporting violent crimes because its racist. Good call.
