CajunBillsBacker Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 Time to retire Laurel vs Yanny because clearly it’s Laurel. This one has my mind spinning though. This one says either Brainstorm or Green Needle, depending on which word you’re thinking of.

I'm not the first person to say this. But qualify on some levels from a lifetime of high DB audio. Everybody has different abilities to hear high frequencies. Dependant on age or say being a touring musican, Formula 1 driver, etc. your hearing and abilities to hear and interpet high frequencies (or even low frequencies) are different speech can be different than what you think you are hearing.. It's simply an audio illusion. I'm flying woth this until I'm called an idiot! lol.

BUFFALOKIE Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 That is weird! I distinctly hear two different words simply by think about one or the other. The weirdest part, to me is that the two words have a different number of sylables.

This one is freaky. It's creeping me out! Funny. I just repeated "Green Storm" over and over, then played... I heard it. BUT ONCE I switched to "Green Needle." I can't pick up "Green Storm" again even if I repeat "Green Storm" over and over. "Storm" is muddled when I do hear it. Will have to come back later. Edit: More like "Green Snow"
Fadingpain Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I'm now picking up "Brain Needle" if I think of that before listening. There is some black magic, voodoo, and witchcraft at work here. OK...back to Naked and Afraid on Discovery Channel. LOL. 1

Not with storm or needle. I can hear storm if I come in blank thinking that... But if I switch midstream to needle, it's all needle all the time till I clear my thoughts.
shrader Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Is this anything like how my wife always hears "yes" no matter what I say after she asks "does this make me look fat?"
