Steve O Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 (edited) My father, a WWII vet himself, just turned 100 in January. Sent out 40 invitations in the hopes that maybe 10-20 people would show up and he would get a bunch more cards. Ended up with 70 people showing up. Fortunately all responded so it wasn't a surprise...I'm coming and bringing so and so. Mind you Mom and Dad still in the family home, and this was January. Fortunately one of the few semi warm days in January, might have reached high 30's that day. Was able to put a couple propane heaters on the porch and accommodate everyone. Anyways, I'm sure if Nick would send out a few invitations, Ike would get a lot of visitors. Apparently 100 is a big deal. Edited May 17, 2018 by Steve O
