Bills4life1924 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 His father passed away after battling ALS the night before his 1st game. Family decided to not tell him until after his game (but he found out through social media). Unbelievable path this kid has had and I wish him all the best!
Sky Diver Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Flag football to playing in the National Championship in 3 yrs. Great story. Roll Tide!
Paul Costa Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Hope the kid sticks. Easy to root for nice family???
ClemsonBills Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 This story makes me feel like he will be a good player. This is the type of guy that ends up being an UDFA stud. Hard worker who wants to get better, but is also already talented. I’m rooting for him big time.
Doc Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Mike Garofolo on NFLN was at the rookie minicamp and specifically made mention of him. Would love to see him and a bunch of the other UDFA's make it.
BigBuff423 Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 If Richard Sherman can be a 5th Round selection, there is sure to be some UDFAs who can turn that corner and become quite good to great. I too like stories such as this one and hope for a truly great ending, ala a long, illustrious NFL career with the Buffalo Bills.
