This guy will quickly become a fan favorite. The first thing he talks about is his home gym, including a his Sorinex Power Rack, and how he's looking for a house that can hold everything. He said there's something about having a gym where he sleeps so that he can get in a workout whenever he wants to. Later he talks about working out at the West Side Barbell gym in Columbus Ohio. He said it has an old school approach but said it's one of the best places he's worked out. He started working out there after buying some of their equipment and was invited to go work out there.

Later he talks about running a "plumber's obstacle course" to get ready before a season in Washington. He talked about how important recovery is and the different techniques he uses to help his recovery. He had high praise for the Bills recovery equipment.

This is presumably the home gym he talked about.

Trent sounds like a blue collar, old school, gym rat. He's got an elite work ethic, long arms, big hands, and had the best 3 cone drill at his combine. He's going to be a very, very good player for the Bills.

I absolutely love the players this FO is bringing in.

Yeah....if he is still affiliated with West Side Barbell, he’s gonna get hit again with a PED suspension at some point. Louis Simmons is more than just pro steroids. He’s been “cycling” for 48 years now.

Hopefully Murphy is one of the guys that don’t get caught again.

The anti-Dareus, lol.

What a sad life for Dareus, think of what kind of player he could be.

Wouldn't feel too bad for him, he made more than enough money to live comfortably, and he's not too old to resurrect his career and really finish the next 4-5 years strong if he decides he wants to.     It's all on him at this point.

Murphy, holy hell that's  a home gym???

Actually I was talking about his personal life, he had a series of tragedies including his brother getting murdered a few years ago.

Did I read correctly that you said Groy can play tackle?  If true that is amazing versatility, keep him on the bench as insurance of Bodine is serviceable.

Groy was our 1st OL off the bench and he actually did play a little tackle for us in spot duty, he was also our 6th lineman in goalline offense or 6 lineman sets.    Would I start him at LT for 5 games?  No probably not.   would I trust him to finish a game where Dawkins got hurt or Mills?  Absolutely.

Dareus has definitely had more than his share of tragedies in his life.    I can understand that all the $ in the world doesn't fill a void left by family members being gone.  I just wish he had leaned on his teammates and coaches a bit more than he did.    Hopefully he finds a good culture in Jacksonville.  I've still got my Dareus Jersey.

I’ve brought that up before about West Side Barbell.

Great interview though!

Murphy is that guy that towards the end of a late practice, he's the last guy you want to go up against in any sort of drill.  Your body is tired, beat up, you just want to take the pads off and go home to rest....but the whistle hasn't blown yet.  Then it's your turn in the rotation, you see Murphy lining up against you and you say "mother ******".  You've got to muster up some more energy because you're about to be eaten by a starving grizzly bear.
