Chan had a plan. Rex had a plan. Roman had a plan. Dennison had a plan... All these flops had plans. The problem was they didn't have a clue.

This isn't about some coach's stupid plan... It's about giving an offense everything it needs to win football games... That means strategy, and effective weapons.

Spare me your bullsh_t schemes, and cutesy playcalling... Put the ball in the end zone or you're fired. Point blank.

Sooooo, what are you saying? Why beat around the bush... LOL. Agree 100%. I hope we see more then just the light at the end of the tunnel. Lets get the thing going!

Year 2 for this regime should be interesting.

No more excuses.

Yes.  No more excuses for being one and done in the playoffs your first year on the job given the prestigious history of this franchise the last 18 years.

Daboll is a carpetbagger coach. He don't even unpack. Good bad or indifferent he won't be here after 2 seasons.

Can one be a carpetbagger when he’s returning to his hometown and already has deep local connections?

so then...we have someone with patriot experience and probably as capable as mcdaniels and he's a carpetbagger.

i wonder if he's had a role on any playoff teams?^_^

You know what "carpetbagger" means, right?

Now, I haven't seen his domicile to say whether or not he's unpacked or planning another job-hop in the near future, but the post you've quoted has nothing to do with ability or experience...

Chan Gailey's offense was impressive given the talent on the team. His D coordinator pick, however.

DUH  -  I would hope they had a plan in place for any QB they planned on drafting

Yep.  After I read it again, I realize it is a pretty week article.  Oh well, news is slow the past few days, unless you count the poster with the alter ego.

Allen is raw, unrefined, and in need of much work to maybe, hopefully, some day be brought up to NFL standards of play.

The QB coach/mentor is more important with him than a lot of guys for those reasons, and of course, considering what we paid to get him.

I think the biggest question is - Are the Bills going to find a coach to work on refining and enhancing Allen's techniques OR are they just going to try to work around him flaws and all.

PLEASE - for the love of GOD - bring in a coach to help Allen work on him footwork etc. ex: Jordan Palmer. DaBoll has his plate FULL just coming up with a playbook and our QB coach ????

Allen has been working with Palmer and to my knowledge Palmer doesn't want to sign with a team he wants to do his independent thing.    And from what i have read he has been refining his mechanics.   Now is that something that really you need a QB coach or mechanics coach for?   If Allen knows what he needs to work on he needs to take ownership of that and do the work himself.  Mechanics and fundamentals are just like Bruce Arians said in his interview with John Murphy, you have to spend 20 minutes a day working on fundamentals, like hitting golf balls at a driving range.

Allen needs to do the work.

I don't buy into it...Rosen hada  6-5 record and is probably as much a project (All College QBs entering NFL are projects) in the 1st year as Allen.  Each of them do their own individual things well, but as a whole package have several flaws...Without proper experience and coaching in the NFL they will be eaten alive.

I'm sorry, but did you use wins and losses as a metric for a QB?

Actually I liked Chan’s plan more than anyone else. Problem was personnel, and the proper utilization of them.

I'd like to see a lot of short throws underneath, plays designed to get a guy open right away immediately. Allen will thrive in the intermediate/deep stuff, focus on quick stuff to get the chains moving.
