Big C Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 So he goes from having a "I don't know if I have it left in me" moment after a five pick performance against Jacksonville to a Tom-Brady-esque "I'm playing forever" thing. 6 2
BillsFan4 Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 (edited) Dude has ontemplated retirement every offseason for the last 2-3 years, and he wonders why the Steelers drafted a QB. lol He did finally say this year that he wants to play 3-5 more years but he still said he will still take it a year at a time and see how his body feels... you can't blame Pittsburgh for drafting a backup plan. YoloinOhio Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 Pretty sure he’s the same guy who publically contemplated retirement each of the last two seasons... Steelers are all drama 4 1
HappyDays Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Kind of a douche move. He was openly questioning his own future in the league just a few months ago. 1
QB Bills Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Maybe they just wanted someone a little less rapey 6 21 3

RocCityRoller Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Seems to me an established guy says something like this: "Does this mean they screwed up the Dobbs pick?", when there is an actual threat on the team to unseat him. No one thought Landrey or Dobbs were threats to Big Ben, but Rudolph did have a heck of a lot of production at the FBS level in a major conference, and is probably Ben's best roster competition yet. 1

NoSaint Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Not only has he questioned his longevity - a backup is likely to see snaps and having a good one may help you win now as opposed to a depth player elsewhere
MrEpsYtown Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 He's a dick, but he is right. If you are trying to win now you use that third rounder to help try to win a Super Bowl. 2

CommonCents Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Walking around TC covered in ice bags and be like yahhhhhhh 3-5 more years. Go home Ben you’re drunk. 1
H2o Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Ben Ro is feeling the heat of a possible successor being there in place. He feels threatened by Rudolph's presence it seems. Odd, considering he was only a 3rd Round pick. Either way, he's been a dick talking about retirement on numerous occasions and now acting like a lil ho when they draft a guy who could replace him after a year or two. 3
