Fadingpain Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Interesting. Sounds like he will move in a different direction and not retire. He's one of the few really solid guys covering the NFL. He'll be missed! 3

Canadian Bills Fan Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I can see him doing something like starting his own podcast or something like that 1
row_33 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 SI is still around? It was no longer fun reading a recap of a game played 10 days earlier around 1994, right? 1
Chuck Wagon Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I've always enjoyed him. I think he's lost a little bit of his fastball but I imagine he's been pretty busy as the figurehead of the MMQB. I can't help but wonder how long SI has left.
BrotherChazz Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 He's joining NBS Sports. The MMQB will continue. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/05/03/welcome-aboard-peter-king/
Malazan Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I didn't read him too often, but it feels weird that he won't be writing MMQB anymore.

Coach Tuesday Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Wow - man, Florio started as a crank and built an empire.
corta765 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I read his column every Monday great insight although I do agree he may have lost his fastball a little. Big loss NFL wise because he had so much knowledge he shared, but the rest of the MMQB crew is great. Just stinks because he loved Bills training camp and always gave us good reviews.
Virgil Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Hopefully he still does his MMQB or some iteration of it somewhere. One of the good ones left

When Dan Gartland took over Extra Mustard's Hot Clicks column from Andy Gray and stopped posting the Lovely Lady of the Day, that did it for me. Edited May 3, 2018 by Peace Frog
