This was only a matter of time. If you're a female that has gone out downtown, you have a 87% chance of being molested by Russ Brandon. It's a pretty known thing. Dude is a scumbag. Dude has been a scumbag. I've always been convinced he was actually behind most of the in-fighting between Marrone and Whaley.

Good effing riddance on personal and professional levels.

Whaley also had a rep downtown but i think he was just always out drinking too much?

Um, per like Everyone at TBD, Beane and McD already answer to the "green owners".

As did the previous coach and previous GM

Do they do it as two guys who ended the playoff drought or as two guys who whiffed on a QB after trading away multiple blue chips for picks? The more trust they have from the owners and fans the better, I have said multiple times that I believe the team is better off when football guys make the football decisions.

Damn.  That's a sad way to go out for a hometown kid who worked his way up.  Like him or hate him, he worked his tail off for both franchises.

Ugggh he worked some tail alright ???

Kim taking charge might be the owners sending a bigger message; that this alleged behavior won’t be tolerated, and there will be a woman in charge to reassure the women in the organization that she will ensure a safe workplace.

Transcript - Not for consumer use. Robot overlords only. Will not be accurate.

John morrow is joining us on the WP young life on John you break the news on to say that Russ Brandon. Has resigned from his post with the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo Sabres I can you give some background so why did he resign. Yet it came to light that. It it became known among it was sports and Ortiz that. Russ Brandon was having what. Was apparently deemed it an inappropriate of terrible murder or employ your email employee. And B you reporting that first. Revealed itself during the winter classic edit in in New York City. And my eyebrows and questions were were began being raised. And and Tim Graham all of up ice by saying that. An internal investigation was prompted on Friday. By the good Googlers and recovered and led. In regards to be in appropriate. You know relationship. And that led to a tool well I guess recognition. Which is probably grew termed it so. It would. Something that was a few months and coming but still a shocker nonetheless. Nother year reporting have you been able to figure out that that was the reason why the primary reasons why Brandon was released a guy. Yet got credit better and better that is accurate or miss spears was the reason that led what what happened today. Our decision was actually read from what I told yesterday. And it would work will be announcement coming to date salute have been near the actual decision was reached it was an arm of the surgeon. About. It hours ago. Now can legalize has taken over Russ Brandon role as president of the organizations can you explain exactly what can. Pat is going to be doing with. Her added rule. Well it it is a big and got to approach would code over people he franchisers. I mean I I know people like to complain about. You know what once catered did not do or you don't and in all this stuff but. I mean you're talking about going to league meetings speaking a board of governor altered board of order on the NHL. Handling the business side Opel and Kim is very astute in in in in powdered dubious. But. I expect herd to hire additional people to help were on the business side because it's a mammoth job to overtake. And given that she's already one of the owners of the teams as well how long do you think it's going to be until Kim decides. Hey I'm gonna hire somebody else completely to take over this president's job. All like a computer remain president but I just our district for the here's Eric Eric Eric Eric you know what should have done. At some point in either Arnott against him. But Arctic Russia have numbers to. EP is higher at more people. Because now BP executive principles or order and it. And a top two teams is somewhat and and it. To oversee the marketing side the entire that an error pro. It's gonna take more specialists aren't being. I'll work with him of gruel overseeing. Being more of an overseer. As opposed to being pat and Don person because you meet specs with under. And it it could or could it compete compete with. John wanna look at the statement that Russ Brandon had sent out he said that he wants to reach the twenty year mark with the team which he did last November and that was one of the reasons why he wanted to resign. Is that the red Herring. Well bring partner and it'll boy what happened. It is is it a boy discussing. What. Let his resignation. I do think there is. Some far. To. Come true to that I'm not saying I I respond to that in and start. You was being bought ragged. Spiritual past years but weren't able to neighbors and intranet and in the Pearl Harbor acts like I think it was coming to ahead. Column and it sport where what what what are. What would be an inappropriate relationship an employee but that led him to hear yours or his record resignation. That said. Just not sure if you long for the job to begin with you and poverty responsibility. Do you think you'll be picked up by another franchise any time soon. Well I'd at it. Any for any sports team of France cyber. We will palpable and what actually happened here. Calm before teaming him how terrible actors and given. The allegations are business relationship. I do you think your very good marketing person. I can't speak for your personal life. Because I don't have all the tale of how inappropriate relationship was. However that can be up to another team or department wondered hire was rendered are you and your very good marketing. I'm just not sure. If it how much missed by my count against them.

Tomorrow's headlines: When Tim Graham says "No!," he means "No!"

For some reason this reminds me of Tim Graham’s clandestine airport meeting with Doug Marrone.

The demise of the office romance is not a positive for women. It's a damn shame for both men and women.

Contrary to popular belief, most women like romance and sex, and that doesn't necessarily cease to be when they walk in the office.

I can't tell you the number of women I've known personally who happily, willingly, and eagerly have sexual relations with coworkers. I'm pretty sure they would not prefer the male coworkers they like to join the sexless, sterilized castrati you advocate for.

Lol no dude, women don’t like being propositioned for sex by their boss. No matter how much you just ooze masculinity and raw sexuality, they just want to do their work in peace.

Yeah, because that will win SuperBowls. But as long as the women are happy, that's all that matters...

Correct. There are lots of potential benefits.  Kills me when white men get worked up about “qualifications” - jobs and privileges have been handed to us for thousands of years.

We just got to agree to disagree here.

When everyone's happy, it's all cute 'n sweet.  Awwww.  Kittens and flowers.

When the romance goes sour, and it doesn't just distract the participants, it f*cks up the morale on the project team two weeks short of a big deadline, not so cute.

When one party is supervising the other (and note gender there) it causes all sorts of grief - at best, employees who aren't happy about their work assignment or their PR think they were dissed off in favor of The Squeeze.  At worst, it's a LOL (lawsuit on legs) when the supervisee wants out of it and the assymmetrical power thing comes into view

Whether the people involved are happy, willing, and eager really has no bearing on whether it's a good thing for the business

IMO, your views reflect considerable naivete but that's just my opinion.

Just a quick little thought. Investigation started either right before the draft or during. Pegulas are furious of what they find out. They let him sit at the draft table so he feels empowered and on top of the world- then Friday kim confronts and says “resign or be fired you POS”. Talk about chopping someone down if thats how it went.

It is truly is incredible how long this man lasted in a professional sports organization, let alone 2. First off he was a marketing major and division 3 baseball player at st john fisher with no background whatsoever in football.  He weaseled his way up the ranks by kissing ass and made it big time by ingratiating himself to a 90 something year old owner who thought of him as the son he never had.  How he ever made any football decisions is remarkable. Marketing genius??? Selling football to buffalonians is like selling crack to an addict.  Plus I have very credible sources that tell me that this wouldn't be the first time he was "unfaithful". It was only a matter time till he got caught.  Bottom line is that worm tongue is a scumbag that wore out his welcome years ago.  No doubt Mcbeane saw right through his bull **** and are happy to see this idiot gone.

Does Russ get to keep all the trophies he brought in or do those stay with the team?

Women in the office don't want to do their work in piece, they form cliques and get all catty with each other, and that usually revolves around who gets the attention from the male coworkers.

I have to assume that this level of misogyny is ban-worthy.
