mary owen Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 That dude had one hell of a Southern Rock voice. I loved this band in the late 70's. The "No Guts No Glory" was a fantastic comeback album for DJB and MH. Not much in the sales dept, but then again, that don't mean sh*t. that album rocked. RIP Danny Joe http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...n_mu/obit_brown
Rico Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Wow, that's too bad. I saw them play a movie theater in downtown Indy back in 78 (the Circle?). Sponsored by the big rock FM radio station in town, tickets only cost $1.03, or whatever their FM frequency was (matched it). I remember him calling a lot of people from the crowd up on the stage, then pushing them back off when it looked like the stage might collapse. RIP Danny Joe.
stevewin Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 God - when I was in high school I used to crank 'Gator Country' like you wouldn't believe. RIP Dime Ba... errr Danny Joe
