Just Jack Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2018/04/28/beane-on-free-agent-wr-dez-bryant/ Quote “We’ll look at everything,” said Beane. “We have looked at Dez on tape, but I wouldn’t take it any further and I don’t know where that would go. We’re looking to get better at all positions and receiver is one, so if we thought that was the right fit for us we would potentially pursue it.”
Midwest Bills Fan Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 He turn down a multi year deal in Baltimore, I can’t see us offering him more than that.
John from Riverside Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 We could offer him a 1 year prove it the question is should we

Here's how I'd see that going down: Des can't get anything close to what he wants........so accepts a one year deal with Bills. 3 weeks into the season with 2 catches for 18 yards he leaves the team to contemplate his future.........asks for his release etc.. I'd like to be more optimistic but the combination of him not being able to get open for the past 3 years and the Bills possibly shaky OL/QB situation and 5 of 7 games on the road to start the season.......ehhhh 1
WotAGuy Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 (edited) From my reading of his quote, I would say the Bills AREN’T looking at Dez. Edited April 29, 2018 by WotAGuy 4
Chicken Boo Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 There's an actual blurb on rotoworld saying the Bills WON'T pursue Dez Bryant. 1
MtlBillsFan Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 No way McBeane wants this diva in the locker room. 1
oldmanfan Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I don't see how the quote says we're looking at the guy.
Skins Malone Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 That qoute made it seem like they arent looking at Dez

Bobby Hooks Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 It would be really dumb for Dez to do that. He wants a one year prove it deal which means he wants to show he’s still got it. With our qb, and oline situation being in transition it wouldn’t make sense for him. 1
8-8 Forever? Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 (edited) screw Dez. TO V2.0 . pass. Dez is done. Just now, 8-8 Forever? said: screw Dez. TO V2.0 . pass. Edited April 29, 2018 by 8-8 Forever?
Buffalo86 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Rodak interpreted Beane's statement like this: Bills GM Brandon Beane said the team won't pursue free agent Dez Bryant. Beane said the Bills watched Bryant "on tape" but won't pursue the free agent any further. "If we thought that was the right fit for us, we definitely would potentially pursue it," Beane continued. Bryant reportedly turned down a multi-year contract from the Ravens recently and continues to seek out a one-year, prove-it deal. The Cardinals and Packers have been linked to Bryant, though nothing concrete has materialized to this point. Source: Mike Rodak on Twitter Apr 28 - 7:52 PM
