WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT THE BILLS DRAFT DAY 3

Buffalo capped their draft on Saturday with three offensive players and two defensive players. Here's what we learned about the Bills 2018 draft class.

Thing is....

while most of us are scratching our heads wondering why they aren’t picking the obvious ‘best players remaining’ at a position of need ....

We should give the benefit of the doubt to Beane and Co that they have done their homework. 

 

Finding guys who fit ‘the process’ is the primer by which their draft board is made.

 

Character, private interviews, intelligence, personality...all must play in to a significant degree...and we don’t have a damn clue about any of these.

 

All we see are game film and most of us don’t have a clue what we are looking at there, either. 

 

I stopped questioning draft selections a long time ago because I know that I don’t know a damn thing.

 

It’s like questioning a persons attraction to another. Some people are empirically beautiful...but does that mean you walk down the aisle with them?  The vetting process, as you all know, to be successful, has to be much more complex.
