Yea I agree. We have signed some pretty impressive players.

WR, Robert Foster, Alabama is the most impressive and signing the OL from Iowa, Ike Boettger is impressive also coming off a torn Achilles last year. Could be a good find.

Boettger is interesting. Former quarterback who was recruited as a tight end and has played guard and tackle,

Not really. Chances are, this guy has a chance. Even if it's 1% he has a chance. Peterman has no chance.. 0%. There are some guys that cannot play in regular season NFL games because of their arm. To me, Peterman is one of those guys. I said it before the Chargers game and it was evident in that game. It was even evident in the final game.

Just specualtion. Nobody actually knows.

I honestly don't think we will sign too many more rookies.  McDermott likes his experienced players too and there are plenty left in FA.  Leave a little room for flexibility over the next few months.

Part of the consideration is cost.  Veterans will cost you the vet minimum, whatever that is, and can count against your salary cap.  UDFAs cost you a little bit of nothing.

Shippensburg is a Division 2 program in Centralish Pennsylvania. Known for having big time offenses. Is he good, or a product of the vaunted Shippensburg offensive system ?

hey, there is another smallish school in PA that produced a great NFL Player.  Kutztown State's Andre Reed!

The kid started one game. A game in which the only receiver anyone has ever heard of was injured on the very first play and two scrubs let balls bounce off their hands and turn into picks. My confidence would be shot too. Before getting hurt, he was holding his own in that blizzard against Indy too. Peterman's a smart and athletic kid. I'd bet he'll have a chance to be in this league for a long time before I'd bet that he's one and done.

I like the looks of Cam Phillips.

Maybe McD and Beane saw his first name and were like, "well, it worked the first time..."

Interesting highlight film.  He's putting his whole body into his throws but his feet always seem to be in the right place.  Look at that throw at 4:27.  He knows he's about to get clobbered and he stands in and delivers.  And he's got some wheels.  One thing stood out to me - his WR are almost casual about catching the ball, wouldn't you say?  They are very confident that ball will show up where and when they expect it to.  Hold their hands out and plink! catch.

Good initiative on the kid, too, working himself into PSU's pro day.  Interesting guy.

Interesting throwing motion.  Reminds me of Philip Rivers with that torquing of his upper body when he throws.  Gotta keep his feet planted though, almost looks like a pitcher more than a QB.

kid seems like a baller.

He threw 14 passes in the Chargers game, 5 of them to the Chargers.

We'll at least one was to Pat DiMarco, who let it glance of his stone hands. But please, carry on.

That was a common problem throughout the year though.

4.33.   Did he return kicks?  Will be nice to have a speed CB go up against our speed WR's in practice at the very least!

I love how this FO is constructing this team.

I wonder how many people that comment actually watch the games.

Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but de Beer and Mike Love are both UDFA signings. Beer and Beach Boys-sounds like a great Saturday night circa 1984

Oklahoma State transfer. Played almost exclusively on ST units his freshman/sophomore years before moving on.

From his old OSU bio - "As a junior, named return specialist of the year in District 18-5A". Was also a 2015 1st team Academic All-Big 12.

All they know is 5 interceptions. No how or why.
