dominic lupacchino Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 His teammates are the ones who will look him in the eye and know he was young and dumb. I hope this gets laid to rest. Excited for the season.
MarlinTheMagician Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Man, he is going to be great. I will stand behind it if he is not, but I think he has it all. Talent, dedication, drive, humility, team player. For a kid that was 5'10" and 130 lbs going out for his high school team to a JUCO guy with no offers, I think he will work until he overcomes whatever shortcomings he has. 7 1
aceman_16 Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 As I have said (many times on multiple background video threads), Josh has been growing on me. He was not MY first choice but he was the BILLS first choice. I appreciate his work ethic and seemingly desire to do well. Plus, I grew up an ole farm boy and I can truly appreciate the kind of man it brings out. Good luck Josh! God knows the Bills and all its fans needs you to become a franchise QB for 15+ years! 5
MarlinTheMagician Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Love his mobility. Though I hope he does not lower his shoulder like that in the NFL! 1 1
CajunBillsBacker Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Can anyone find one throw in this video that Tyrod Taylor can make? 1
wppete Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I’m really excited to see Allen under Center. This was a great pick. Perfect fit for this team. 2 minutes ago, CajunBillsBacker said: Can anyone find one throw in this video that Tyrod Taylor can make? Tyrod had a good arm, he could make throws (not like Allen) but Tyrod just didn’t have that gunslinger mentality. He was way too conservative and scared to make the tough throws.

Only way they "beat" him out is McD looks at our first 6-8 weeks and says "yeah. um. Let's not kill our new guy. Nate, saddle up, you've got the minnesota pash rush next week!" 1

ko12010 Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I found this very interesting. If this is accurate, the Josh Allen 'racially insensitive' tweets incident was incredibly blown out of context. This is representative of how terrible most of our major media is--quoting a tv show and a rap song is VERY different than actually making racist comments. Until I watched this video I had been led to believe that he made racist tweets not that he was quoting with a buddy from mainstream culture, very possibly in a joking as well. Again if this is accurate, it's absolute absurdity and so irresponsible of media to frame it in a manner that fits today's hypersensitive social victim mentality.

What is great though, is that Josh has owned it as if he did actually make the comments. Not one excuse. It was great to see how he would handle a tough situation, really speaks to his true character. It is easy to say all the right things, but it is in going through these tough situations where the true character shines through. 3 1
Turk71 Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 (edited) I had mixed feelings about all the qbs and would have been happy with Mayfield, Darnold or Allen. After the dust has settled I am happy they got Allen, though I am probably subconsciously biased as my grandmother's family name was Allen. Edited May 8, 2018 by Turk71 1
stuvian Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 hopefully there are less recalls on Josh Allen than there are on the Santa Fe On 4/29/2018 at 9:58 AM, wppete said: I noticed that Hyundai vehicle had no license plate. Hopefully it wasn't stolen

If I'm Peterman or McCarran, his superior arm and athleticism are the least of my worries when it comes to competing for the job.
Wayne Arnold Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Cool photo with Derek Carr during Allen's high school days...

eball Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 That's a good looking family. I think Josh will fit in great as the face of the franchise.
