Not sure if this was posted, but this dude is a beast.

FYI that’s James Washington’s lunch he just stole.

He looks like a heat seeking missile in this video. Did he just fall because he went to a small school? In some of those highlights he looks like the best player on the field.

Small school and he probably did not do all the things we saw in the video consistently.  Or small school and he hasn't mastered one position yet since he moved spots on a few occasions.

Looks like a great talent to develop though.  Can't teach athleticism or "want to" and it's obvious Neal has both of those things.

my 2nd least favorite pick this draft at a gut level. Who? What is his position? What does he bring? Doesn't seem to have a position.

Then I thought about B Scott, and Coy Wire and Kam Chancellor. Versatile DB/LB hybrids.

Then I watched highlights, now I get it. This is a chess piece that loves to knock people's blocks off.

He can be a 3rd DB in a dime, or a 2nd LB in a nickel with Edmunds. A luxury pick if you will.

Haven't seen that in a while. Last big hitters among the DBs I recall were S Leanord Johnson, Winfield, Whitner and A Will.

Has the versatility of Wire/Scott with the nasty of Johnson and such.

Cool to bring the nasty. With Star/Phillips/Edmunds/Poyer and Neal the middle will be a place other teams will not want to test.

I think that 3 game stretch centered with New Orleans gave McDermott nightmares. He wanted hitters and to stiffen the middle of the defense.

I get the pick now. Specialist and a nasty attitude chess piece. I like it.

Every good Defense needs a few technicians, a few psychopaths and a few filler guys in the right positions. This is a Psycopath, so is Poyer, while Hyde and Tre are technicians. I get it.

Very well put, I completely agree. I can't wait to see him drop the boom on his first pat*.

Uhm.... do you know the difference between a cb and a s ?

Listed as a CB when he was drafted on NFL network. The post was real-time not a day later like yours, jackass.

At this point in the draft, if you can find players who contribute you should be happy.  Complaining about filling needs at this point is silly.

Totally agree

Awesome but I also am hesitant to get excited because the NFL may not allow you to hit offensive players hard coming in the middle.

If you keep your head up and don’t head hunt I still think a perfectly good shoulder to the ribs of a WR is acceptable

Lots of posts so I cant go through them all

Lets try to remember what McDermott is probably trying to create and why guys like Preston Brown are gone.....

Guys that you can put on the field that can cover.......but still with enough size to tackle like Linebackers....hence Edmunds in the first.

Trust the process

I'm really starting to like Siran Siran.

And it's almost inarguable that McDermott knows how to coach up DBs. He will make the team and be seeing the field in packages by midseason me thinks.

Me thinks we can use a guy like him on ST if he can excel and be a contributor ( for a late pick ) anything he does on defense ( IMO ) is all gravy, and if he becomes a starter later on well ( what a steal !!! ) !!!!
