Justice Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Prieleau cut - per vcoach 274434 I like where we stand with the young back ups.
IDBillzFan Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Jeez, man...you missed the Nuefeld re-signing. Whaddup with that, man?
jahnyc Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Maybe this has to do with signing DeMulling? I hope this is the case.
VABills Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 Jeez, man...you missed the Nuefeld re-signing. Whaddup with that, man? 274444 Don't care about that. I called the PP cut months ago. Actually my inside source did. It just confirmed something else he says.
IDBillzFan Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Don't care about that. I called the PP cut months ago. Actually my inside source did. It just confirmed something else he says. 274448 That we're gonna cut Bledsoe? Or that JP won't make it?
Fezmid Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I thought you meant the Falcons cut Peerless Price. Why not spell it out in the title...? CW
Frez Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Maybe this has to do with signing DeMulling? I hope this is the case. 274447 I have to agree................get er done TD!
ajzepp Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Maybe this has to do with signing DeMulling? I hope this is the case. 274447 Likely has to do with some sort of signing.....DeMulling or otherwise
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 The Bills might have a player in mind...or they might have finally wised up to the fact that Pierson blows.
VABills Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 That we're gonna cut Bledsoe? Or that JP won't make it? 274454 He said originally the Bills would keep Drew, but TD's hands were forced on that issue (by the fans primarily). He says JP will fail initially and doubts that he ever amounts to anything good. He said PP will be cut. That is what I am referring to. BTW, the Neufeld resigning is a good thing.
Justice Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I thought you meant the Falcons cut Peerless Price. Why not spell it out in the title...? CW 274456 So did I
Mark VI Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 He said originally the Bills would keep Drew, but TD's hands were forced on that issue (by the fans primarily). 274462 I didn't know Mularkey,Clements and Wyche were just fans, since they forced the issue. The fans had nothing to do with that move.

Fake-Fat Sunny Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Can you say we need cap room to sign someone?
VABills Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 Can you say we need cap room to sign someone? 274468 Ummm.... we resigned Neufeld.

IDBillzFan Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Ummm.... we resigned Neufeld. 274469 And I can't imagine cutting PP saved us that much cap space.
VABills Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 And I can't imagine cutting PP saved us that much cap space. 274475 1.8 million or something like that. Yes it was a fair chunk of change. From a cap standpoint enough to probably sign an average guard over a multi-year contract.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I am not a clumping platelet but it seems to me that cutting PP and resigning Neufeld would still net us a million or so on the cap. Neufeld couldnt have been signed for much more than the veteran minimum.
