Stop crying. Allen can defend himself, He's in the big boys league now. Sheesh.

Crying?  You made an accusation.  I disagree with your accusation.  Sorry if you see that as "crying".

You're right, he is a big boy with a rocket arm.  I love the pick.  Best arm in the draft.  Let's hope he becomes a great one for us.

Oh boy....I hope they are right.   Was really hoping for Rosen there.

Edit:  In the light of day, I'm more and more ok here.  Rosen wasn't going to be happy in Buffalo and Allen wants to be here.  It's fully in keeping with what they've done thus far in terms of getting/keeping guys who are fully bought in and shedding guys who aren't.

Jim Kelly wasnt gonna be happy in Buffalo either. Thankfully we still drafted him.

Btw there was that report yesterday that Rosen said he would love to play in Buffalo but i guess that doesn't matter to u.

It's not an accusation when he actually tweeted it for everyone to see; clear as day here. It's ok to take him, but my problem is that Beane gave up a lot to get him. He didn't have to. He panicked. Could have drafted him without trading anything. Best arm in the draft? No. That belongs to Baker Mayfield. Strong arm doesn't mean much when he's inaccurate.

He tweeted a quote from a popular sitcom that he thought was funny and some lyrics from a rap song that was popular. Get over it.

The rest of your post is hogwash anyway.

Again, the kid was 14 when that happened, he's apologized and that's good enough for me, people make mistakes, especially when they're not grown.  But you hold onto it if you want, free country.

I liked Mayfield, I'm glad he didn't get to the Jets, actually.  But I like the Allen pick.  I actually thought the opposite of you.  I thought Beane did a great job of keeping our other first so we can get our stud linebacker.  Oh well, I guess we have different lenses, enjoy the rest of the draft and go Bills.

Um yeah.........no.

Watson has proven himself as a star in this league, after only one season mind you.

He's only played 4 to 5 games.  Will that transfer over is what I meant.

Beane didn't panic, he exercised patience. Allen wouldn't have made it to 12, though Rosen may have. Allen certainly has the best arm in the draft, though Rosen is the best passer in the draft. There is a difference.

What? Please be more coherent. I'm going to disagree anyway. Beane panicked. Allen was going to be there at 12 without trading. A failure in my mind. He made up for that though with Tremaine Edmunds. Tremaine, if he can remain durable, might be a Hall of Famer.

I love that pick.  Kid's only 19...as you said, if he stays healthy through his career, he can be a good one for us for a long time.  He's definitely got the "Buffalo DNA", I just see it in his eyes.

24 hours later, every vid I could find, numerous articles and a sad attempt at a work day, I can say that I am very happy with the Josh Allen pick. Rosen is too outspoken and abrasive at times for our new culture, no way he would've been the pick unless it was out of necessity. Mayfield was a surprise at 1 and we never had a shot at Darnold. Josh Allen has made an insane amount of progress since the senior bowl (which he looked terrific in). He is by far the most physically gifted QB in a draft full of potential starters. This will all come down to continued progress and coaching. He seems very motivated to prove to everyone he is legit, rising above the constant doubt and if this occurs, we may be seeing something incredible. Not just a franchise QB but a leader that can do things on a football field no other QB in the league has the ability to do. That's the type of ceiling Allen possesses AND we kept our other pick in the first.

Then used it for another player with this type of potential on our defense with Tremaine?! ?

I can't wait to see what they do next. This teams turn around will happen quicker than we think.

So happy to be a Bills fan today.

Lets enjoy this for once.. we're not a joke anymore.

If you hate the team what are you doing here. You're , of course, much wiser than the rest of us. So easy to sit in your arm chair judging people actually making decisions.

Idiotic to declare something as fact you have zero basis for knowing.   Clearly you are not familiar with the concept of risk management.

Haha, I was fairly useless at work today too....I was super happy last night and I'm surprised (not really I guess) at all this internet negativity.  Oh well, not sad things shook out the way they did.  Go Bills...let's get some help on the Oline today!

Pretty cool. The more I read about Allen the more I like him as a person. Now I just hope he can play QB. Ha
