I think he's the guy the Giants want, and if he's gone they pick Barkley instead or trade down if we give them 3 first round picks.

If you draft a guy at #2, then you better plan on playing him his rookie year, or year 2 at the latest. I haven't heard about Eli planning on retiring. I hope they trade the pick for Buffalo, and then either go with QB Davis or draft someone like Rudolph at the top of round 2.

Eli Manning is 37 years old and has been steadily declining for 3 years. They need a QB of the future and it's a perfect situation for a QB to step into with no expectations to start immediately. 1

Everybody assumes the Giants are passing on a QB but I don't understand that logic. Manning is nearing the end & the Gmen may not be in this spot again for the forseeable future. We are not getting Mayfield/Rosen/Darnold is my guess. Unless Beane loves Allen(which is entirely possible) stay put at 12 & take a shot at Jackson.

Baker Mayfield upgrades their offense enormously. Mayfield, with Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry and David Njoku could be an amazing offense. They also might have a shot at Barkley at 4, and if they don't, they can trade down and try to pick up picks to grab a franchise LT. Edited April 26, 2018 by jrober38

You can't make a team trade with you and the only thing we could have done differently is beat out the Jets trade. You can't control what you can't control. Use the 6 picks and make a really solid team so that AJ is just a game manager. 1

He is closer to the mold of the QBs their GM and OC have taken in the past. Getting prepared for Darnold to be the guy the Bills take.
