4-24: Ian Rapoport on One Bills Live (8:23)

Rapoport - Brandon Beane and Dave Gettleman know each other well and they could get a deal done quickly for the 2nd pick, but I don't think the Giants want to fall back that far. #Bills #NFLDraft

Rapoport - I would be surprised if Darnold or Mayfield are available after the 4th pick. The other quarterbacks I can see being available. Allen and Rosen are guys who could fall, and I can see the #Bills making moves up for them. #NFLDraft

Rapoport - If you go through the reports, you can put almost every quarterback at the 1st pick to the Browns. No one really knows. Mayfield shouldn't be ruled out for the #1 pick, but is he the guy? No. #NFLDraft

The highlight of this was Tasker speculating the Browns take a QB at 1 & 4  What a doof.

If they're smart that's what they should do.

Would double their chance of finding "the guy" and they still have plenty of other picks to improve the team with.

He was interrupting the flow of the conversation with terrible off the wall questions. Man he is bad!

And if they both turn out, one of them is worth a 1st or more in trade.

That's exactly what they should not do.  There's no way they have enough practice reps to develop two rookie QBs under the limitations of the current CBA.

Exactly.

They might not wind up with an elite QB, but their odds would be better of having one really good guy if they pick two of them.

If both work out, trade him for a king's ransom in 2 years.

How would you know both turned out?

So they should punt on a double digit sack guy opposite Garrett for a backup QB?!? That’s a good way to get fired. Just get the QB decision right; that’s what they get paid to do.

The numbers say that it's really hard to "get it right".

Having two really good pass rushers means nothing if they don't have a QB.

They need to walk away with this draft with a franchise QB to build around for the next 10 years. Picking two elite QB prospects all but guarantees that happens.

The only thing it would guarantee is disaster. Neither guy would sign until one of them is traded.

Why on earth would that happen? They don't think they can win the job?

I have no idea how Tasker continues to be employed. Really pretty amazing.

Tasker is a good guy and was a great Bill, but clearly he took way too many shots to the head in his career. He is brutal, his thoughts and way of speaking are all over the place and impossible to follow. It’s tough to have to suffer through him and Murph just to get some decent Bills coverage.

Lol the "draft 2 QB's" truthers are here. Nevermind that there's not enough reps or playing time, or that you are passing on top playmakers to help your team. Draft all of the QB's and figure it out later

If there aren't enough reps, why do any NFL teams draft developmental 3rd string QBs?

Terrible as a commentator and worse as a sports show host- make it stop! To make matters worse, Brandon is going to be at the draft table- looks like Beane isnt as powerful as we thought.

how would both turn out....do you play them both...taking QBs at 1 & 4 would not be smart

What team spends a top 5 pick on a 3rd string QB? Those guys are after thoughts knowing that 9 out of 10 will be busts. Also since 2010, no QB has sat for 1 yr or more and turned out being a franchise QB. You only get better by playing
