I think that with the way OBD has been so tight lipped, this means they are going Rudolph at 12.

I coached a pretty talented college basketball player who's family is very close to Rudolph's family.  There dads in fact played college football together.  I asked him if today if he has heard about any interest the Bills might be showing Mason Rudolph and he didn't have anything to report.  He then said to me that the Bucs have good information that the Bills are very high on Baker Mayfield.  The reason he knows this is because he is also dating Dirk Koetter's daughter "head coach of the Bucs".  I'm not sure if the Bills are discussing a trade with the Bucs and he didn't have that information either.  Like I said, take this for what it is worth; just thought I would pass it along.

Bills may be interested and Bucs may be willing to trade, but this only works if the Jets Broncs and Colts aren't interested

Hmm? What is the worth of college player who is friends with Rudolph? How does this have any relation to Who the Bucs think the Bills are high on.

What the !@#$ kinda thread is this op?

This isn’t worth ****.

cool, i think?  Rosen or Mayfield are the two i think would be the best for the Bills.  Will Mayfield still be there at Tampa's pick?

One of the big 4 should be there as long as another team doesn’t trade up and either the Giants or Broncos don’t take a QB.

So you coached Luke Maye?

Taking some hits by a lot of so called Bills fans and that is fine because this is truly what I expected 1/2 of the people to do.  I said in the title "take it for what it is worth".  I'm not trying to guess at what the Bills are going to do.  Some of you crack me up on here.  It's like you have nothing better to do than throw shots at people.

dont sweat the small stuff or the small people.  they would shut down all discussion unless it was peer reviewed and vetted by 3 PhDs in advance of being posted.  i enjoyed reading your story.

I could see them not chasing Rudolph, but Mayfield just doesn’t fit.  I’d be shocked

I find this at least semi-believable because OP would really have to think this out pretty well to make up this scenario haha.

I guess the assumption here is that Buffalo discussed a deal with Tampa (which has been pretty widely speculated already) that was contingent on Baker being available.

Drew Brees (extremely accurate and has 5 of the 9 5K yard season in the NFL )   (can he match this unique guy for accuracy?)

Well, um ... yeah. That's his calling card. Accuracy.

I'm not worried terribly about anybody's 40 yard time; it's about their 5 yard time, ability to reset his feet and make a throw and keep his head downfield. Point of the matter is, Mayfield was at his best under pressure.

Brees' college numbers, for reference.

if that's the case, I wonder what it would cost?  would tampa take Buffalo's 2 firsts and a second?  imo that would be worth it if mayfield was still available.  i'd love to see mayfield and AJM as our QBs, there's some personality overlap there

I wonder if they are keeping the Rudolph stuff private.  He seems like such a perfect fit for McBeane.

I feel like you should have started with the dating Dirk Koetters daughter portion first lol. Thanks for passing along!

LOL - started googling and it looks like Luke Maye from UNC is dating the other daughter

I think Tampa would accept before Beane even completed his sentence if that was being offered. I'd guess it costs a first and a second to move up to 7 as long as Nelson, Barkley, and Chubb are all off the board.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they contacted the Bucs.

That is a sensible and I think their pick is the pivotal one between 6 an 10. They could easily move down, get a great running back and help to fill out the roster plus it wouldn't cost the Bills #22 to get there.

As to whether or not they are interested in Mayfield ... I think I'd have a hard time believing Brandon Beane would be so foolish as to let on to another GM a specific name he might be interested in - especially so early in the game. I mean, he might say something, but it strikes me as disinformation.
