Just sitting here thinking about the draft and wondering...which of these top qbs performed the best with the game on the line? That was the biggest knock on Taylor was his "safe" play...so which one of these top qbs has the reputation of being a clutch player? Thats who we will take.

K.

K Rosen or K Darnold or K Mayfield ?

Gets my vote.     Rudolph would give us more in “clutch” situations than Tyrod as well if we don’t trade up.

Good question.  Seems like Lil Bakes, but I’d be interested to see some stats of these guys with the game on the line.  Clutch factor is a real thing.  Some have it. Some don’t.  TT did not

Tyrod's problem was not that he couldn't perform when the game was on the line.

He just couldn't perform.

"Clutch" is a BS thing sports fans talk about.  What matters in real games is talent.

Ask alot of teams up by 14pts in the 4th......enter Tom Brady if they believe in clutch.  Clutch is real and above and beyond talent factor.....

I just think Rosen is that guy

His ball placement with his accuracy is just so good......catchers still gotta catch....BUT when you put the ball right where it is supposed to be its so much easier.  Rosen is one of those guys you can put it on his shoulders.......

Rosen is the guy

This is the time

Whatever it takes

There will be a name of a guy written on a card. The card will be given to the commissioner. He will read the card on TV. That's who we will take.

I completely disagree. I believe some people have that special something that allows them to perform better in stressful situations.

Darnold is the one that everyone always refers to as having the clutch gene. No idea what the numbers would suggest. I’d assume Mayfield since he was so dominant statistically.

Clutch is a very real thing.  Different people behave differently when the pressure ramps up.  There is a reason bowling teams don't always put their most talented bowler last.  They put the teammate they think will respond the best to pressure with the game on the line.

Remember the glory days, "Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!"?  Clutch.

Vs Texas A&M?? Really?? They had one of the porous defenses in college football. As far as Rudolph goes, he had the chance to pull off a victory against the Baker boys and choked!! Both he and Mayfield put up some outstanding numbers in that game, but in the final minutes of that game Mason had the opportunity to give his team back the lead and choked.
