BigDingus Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2018-nfl-mock-draft-browns-start-qb-run-with-josh-allen-bills-take-lamar-jackson/amp/ All the top 4 QB's go in the first 5 picks, with only the Browns at #4 picking a non-QB with their 2nd selection. Then we're left at #12, and are probably desperate enough to grab a QB anyway, likely hoping he ends up pulling a DeShaun Watson. 12. Buffalo Bills (from Bengals) Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville. After trading up from No. 21 to No. 12, the Bills stay put for their quarterback and take Jackson. There's no rush to get him on the field immediately; AJ McCarron will have a chance to earn the job in 2018, but if he flops, Jackson would get his opportunity to be the next face of the franchise. 3 7 1
#34fan Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Not Ideal, but I definitely prefer it to trading away 12, 22, 53 and 56! 6 1
Carter Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 At 12?!? That would be a disaster of epic proportions. No way this happens. 1 1
nedboy7 Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Any QB we draft will the frencheyes. And then we will win the SB. And we can all laugh at TT. Mental illness.
BuffaloBaumer Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Yes, because CBS knows more than anyone....obviously 1 2 1

It won't happen. Nothing that Brandon has said publicly would indicate that he wants a QB like Jackson. I think they are more inclined to draft Manson Rudolph at 21. 3
PIZ Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 That is depressing but realistic. Wouldn't surprise me to see someone jump to 11 and take him, leaving nothing for the Bills.
Utah John Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Above all do NOT give up next year's first rounder. That's likely to be a very high pick, and it could be the one where the Bills finally get their QB, adding that guy to the strong foundation from the 2017 and 2018 drafts. Playoffs in 2019 with the rookie taking over mid-year, and SB in 2020. 3
BillsFanForever19 Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Maybe the Giants take a QB Maybe the Broncos take a QB But i'd be surprised if they both did. Especially with how much noise Elway's making about trading down.
John from Riverside Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 It will only happen if this is how the bills choose for it to happen. Its not a bad plan B......but we have more then enough draft capital to get a QB higher 1
par73 Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Beane and McDermott have made it cleat they want a big pocket passer. I don't believe they will "settle," if their guy is gone.
K D Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 It could happen but very unlikely. Giants are loading up to win now with Eli (maybe adding Dez). I think they want Barkley or Chubb no matter what QB is there. Last thing they need is a QB controversy. Plus Davis Webb might be pretty good. They haven't even seen what he can do yet

LeGOATski Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 IMO, this is better than trading up for Allen, but worse than not trading up for Rosen or Mayfield. It's a wash with trading up for Darnold. 2

We have another first round pick, an extra second round pick, Tre White and we made the playoffs last year. Please think before you post. Edited April 21, 2018 by Bills Pimpin' 1

I think they are more inclined to draft Manson Rudolph at 21. If we like a QB in the first round we will take that QB at 12, not 21. Even if that is Rudolph or Jackson. But at any rate, Browns are not taking Allen at #1.
