papazoid Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 there goes plan "C" http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/04/20/eagles-strike-new-deal-with-nick-foles/
Mat68 Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 He was given a 2 million dollar bonus for winning the Superbowl and an option for 19. Before he was a FA in 19. its possible a team will still trade for him. imo he is not look on as a franchise Qb but a bridge Qb.
wppete Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Dont really care. Just trade up and get Sam Darnold. 1 2
MiltonWaddams Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 He was plan C, but a Super Bowl dominating Plan C. Mediocre history, but had that offense tailored to him and killed it. Smart move to appease him by the Iggles
gobills1212 Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Sadly, this wont stop the trade for foles crew...

Did they consult with former Browns FO.

Gugny Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Well-run organization ever since the day Chip Kelly left. Good for them. 1

IgotBILLStopay Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 just rewarding him for the SB win. i think those extra dollars dont make him untradeable - it is a signing bonus so the team receiving Foles doesnt have to pay that. he is still going to be traded.
dave mcbride Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 He won't end up on the Bills, but he is so much better than so many people here think.

It's pretty clear that with the Rams, he ended up being asked to run an antiquated Coryell system, which was the opposite of what he is good at (modified RPO system which is entirely legit at this point). Outside of the Rams, he has been pretty darn good overall, and we now have enough playoff games (4) to conclude that he is basically elite in the postseason -- 113.2 rating. I'm eliminating his rookie season from consideration - Philly was a mess in 2012 and Reid was on his way out. Edited April 21, 2018 by dave mcbride
