Happy Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 High profile from yesteryear. Colts vs Patriots...this won't be Manning vs Brady. Maybe the NFL forgot Peyton retired.

If Luck is healthy it could be, and remember when the owner said the rivallry is back on cause they were screwed over (or helped out) by their HC choice going back to NE? But Broncos vs Cards? Dolphins vs Texans? 2 minutes ago, 26CornerBlitz said: The NFL appears to be looking to kill any ratings for MNF this year Jets vs Lions? Seahawks vs Bears? Steelers vs Bucs?

Hard to prejudge what games will be competitive at this juncture.

NYC market- huge Bears are still a big ratings draw . They get pt games even when they suck because of this Steelers fans are everywhere. They're almost more " americas team" than the Cowpokes these games will get ratings

I sarcastically said that it seems like the NFL forgot Peyton Manning is retired, but I wonder if there isn't some truth to that. Every season the Colts are in a couple of prime time games and they're just terrible - the Colts and the game. If Luck is healthy AND they fill in many, many holes on both sides of the ball they could be decent, but I doubt they'll be able to do it in one off season. Irsay is not a sober individual.

NYC is a huge market, but the Jets are the second team in that market playing a team from Detroit. Bears might be a draw but theres no rivalry between Seattle and Chicago and don't see casual fans or fans of other teams looking forward to watching that game Pittsburgh is also a big market/team, but like the Bears/Seahawks, theres no rivalry between them or reason casual/other team fan would want to tune into that one
