Don't see how we could afford him

Buffalo almost certainly has enough cap space to sign him considering how late in the free agency process it is. I highly doubt he chooses Buffalo though.

We are middle of the pack in cap space right now. Not terrible. I think he's gonna get between 7-10 million. We could put teh majority of the money in year two.

He is not coming here,  no QB and weak offensive line.

I think that's the Bills fundamental problem with FA WR - not knowing who will be throwing them the ball is a deal-breaker for guys who want to showcase their skills.

He's a massive upgrade over what we have and there's likely not a better player to spend whatever money we have on.  We can still draft a speed guy and roll out Dez / Benjamin / Zay / rookie speed WR, not as terrible as our current outlook.

UM what?

Entire bills Roster - 5,700 Yards receiving

Dez Bryant 5,500 yards receiving.

Dez Bryant is absolutely pulls guys out of the box. He is a proven NFL WR, and a good one at that. But you know he doesn't run a 4 second 40, and he wants money, therefor he is not good. In fact the Bills would probably be better paying Rod Streeter and Andre Holmes nothing and getting zero production out of them.

I specifically said, “he’s better than what we have” so don’t twist my words. I don’t think that the Bills record improves, even by a game with Dez. He’s a possession receiver at this point on a team that only has possession receivers. 2018 Dez isn’t 2012 Dez. If the Bills signed him I would expect about 65 catches for 650 yards and 6 TDs. That doesn’t move the needle. I’d rather add a young guy that can potentially add the big plays that the Bills desperately need. With this OL you aren’t going to be pounding out 16 play drives. You are going to have to make some chunk plays.

It's called sarcasm, friend.

Gotcha. Unfortunately a lot of people have had similar reactions in the past if there isn't a tweet about it haha

If we are playing a rookie or McCarron, I think it's much better to get an experienced WR like Dez.  He can hopefully help Benjamin up his game, give us at least 2 strong pro WRs, even if they are the same type, who knows what we have with Zay and you can still draft a speed guy.  It's a huge upgrade over what a young undrafted / late pick can bring to the role.

Nah, that wasn't sarcasm. That was you looking, not seeing the tweet, trying to call someone out then being proved wrong.

Dez and McCoy are tight. I’m hoping this helps in getting him. Bring him in on a 1 year deal.

He’s probably not interested in us

I suspect this is the case, barring the Bills backing up the Brinks truck to his front door.

I think he really wants to go to an NFC East team, so he can shove it up Jerry's ass twice a year.
