Ok they are definitely taking Darnold. He just went on about the importance of hand size and specifically said that Darnold’s hands were worrisome because of the Cleveland weather. Ok Buddy Nix. Goodness...

He was referring to the media narrative of Baker which Tony Grossi has led an out and out crusade against him for months already. Dorsey is said to be a Baker fan and not so much Rosen.

Well...They do have #1...What does it really matter to them? They get who they want if they stay there...And if anything he should be pupping up Darnold if he wants out of that pick...I think the Browns may be the only team in the NFL that would take Allen in this Draft at #1 overall...It's a little nuts considering the other options...

If Bills are convinced Browns will take Allen, call their bluff and stay at 2. 1

Browns had an Allen (Kizer), Jets have an Allen (Hackenberg), Broncos have an Allen (Lynch). I'm not even sure why he is considered a top 5 pick at all. If the Browns are dumb enough to do it then so be it but I wouldn't expect Allen to go until the Bills somewhere between picks 6-12

And, that is why Josh Allen is no go for me if Rosen, Mayfield and Darnold are available. You can win Super Bowls with guys who aren't necessarily the biggest, strongest- armed guys, protypical QBs. They seem somewhat similar personality wise too. Agreed. Stafford is an extremely good qb who has been cursed playing for a franchise with a terrible running game for years. He has been excellent the last 3 years: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StafMa00.htm

I agreed with Yolo that if Bills want Rosen, they can probably get him at 6. I want them to trade up to 2, because I prefer Darnold, though I would be okay with Rosen at 6. 1

There is a thread about is anyone worried about the Bill's jumping to #2 and giving the Jets one less option and getting a higher crack at a pick opposed to leftovers. It's full of responses like if they wanna ruin their future and overpay them they are dumb and f the Bills. If I was a jets fan - I'd say hell ya that bothers me. I want to have the pick of the litter etc unless we love a guy they wont take anyway. They kinda hedge their bets in the Jets are smart bc they wanted the 3rd best guy all along so it wont matter... Whatever ya gotta tell yourself I guess, but its natural to try and be tough guy, laugh and say it's ok but deep down you know you are just trying to rationalize it. They/we play things down we know we cant have and say we didnt want them anyway... but it's kinda obvious. ESPECIALLY when they paid what they paid. It wasn't a cheap move. To do that and then still have 1 less whack after moving 3 spots seems pretty hypocritical. I guess it's why it didnt bother me when they went to 3 bc I was worried about that move and then having someone slot in at 2. If darnold ends up being there at 3 and we couldn't trade up? Heck ya I'd be jealous!! Hopefully that isnt the case though. Point being, I wonder how many people who dont want darnold say that bc he cant be had. I guess the only way wed find out if they landed him!

YoloinOhio Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 (edited) Dorsey doesn’t even believe his own words. The only QB he’s acquired in KC or Cleveland with 10 inch hands is Tyrod. Mahomes, Alex Smith, Aaron Murray ... Edited April 19, 2018 by YoloinOhio
