whatdrought Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 I'd say if he is willing to take a deal now that paying him is worth it, but likely he will wait and hope to boost his offer.
Codyny13 Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 I’m just happy he’s there. We’ve all heard **** about him coming into camp overweight and out of shape. Hopefully in his contract year he kills it.
YoloinOhio Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Can’t answer until I see him healthy with a real QB. That may be this year, maybe not.
Reed83HOF Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Don't care right now...need a qb, need a qb, need a qb
NewEra Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Crazy as it may be to let him test FA, but that’s what’s id do. I just don’t think he’s ever going to be healthy and his speed will only deteriorate. He’s good for us in 2018, but I wouldn’t want to pay him any more than 8 mill a year. I’d much rather have Robert Woods at 8 mill than KB. If he stays healthy, letting him go could bite us, I just don’t see it happening. He’s gonna get his knees pounded on catch after catch. 2
MTBill Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 I think you have to play it by ear. We don't have cap room to go extending him right now. If he plays lights out this season, it's a gamble but we have cap room next year. If he has another injury plagued year - maybe you just let him walk. I would not do any sort of extension right now. 1

The extension would be for '19 and beyond. 1
BrotherChazz Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 The Bills have no money to resign him now, and based on the production last year, why would you? Let him play out his contract. We've got all the money in the world next year if we want to resign him.
CuddyDark Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Let him play 6-10 games first. Why decide this now? 3
John from Riverside Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Id like to see him play a bit this year and show he can stay healthy......maybe negotiate in the year?

TheBeane Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 No reason to sign him long-term now. Wait to see how he does and if he can stay healthy.

Mr. WEO Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 The WR market is overpriced and this guy no doubt thinks he belongs in that price range. He doesn't. Let hi play out his contract.

Mango Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 If he is betting on himself, it’s in his best interest to hold off on an extension based on what others are getting paid. If he has a good year he’ll get over twice as much as his value is currently. That said, if he wants an extension now, go for it Buffalo, offer him his current value, which is probably around, or slightly more than Robert Woods money. 8-10 mil per year. Then you get a steal for the next 3-4 years, with a low enough value to cut or trade if things don’t work out.
