No. Logan Thomas is starting (shhhhhh) but seriously, more than one analyst has compared Josh Allen to Thomas so... wtf are we doing here Edited April 16, 2018 by YoloinOhio 1

MarlinTheMagician Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Anybody else think we maybe should have locked up O'Leary for 2-3 years? Seems he is coming into his own. 2

O'Leary has played well in spots but he's dispensable. If he puts together a solid 8 or 10 games I could see him being rewarded with a modest contract extension. But I don't think the Bills are settled at the TE position. I'd bet money that this is Clay's last season here and wouldn't be surprised if they tried to grab one of these rookie TEs coming up this year as it's a decent TE group.
MarlinTheMagician Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Would be nice if Thomas emerged. He has had enough time now to know the position. I like his 1 year. Agree with you on Clay - though I think he has been a good Bill, done his best, produced if not up to contract (likely due to knee). Like Clay a lot, but too expensive.

Seems he is coming into his own. i think he's gonna take a huge step up, especially with a.j. throwing a bunch more balls. he did win the best te in nation in college. hoping to see a lot of deep posts this year. i'm so happy we got a.j. no more stacking the box without paying the price.
MarlinTheMagician Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 I have a lot of friends in Cinci and most really liked AJ. Several wanted him ahead of Dalton, several did not. He is a really guy at worst IMHO. *Real guy - as in legit NFL QB. Typo.
