It would be a mistake if they did IMO. I'm not opposed to the idea of trading up for a QB, not at all - but the "top 4" QB are so different it would be farcical to think the Bills would have the same value on each of them. 1 or at most 2 guys, if the Bills have a top grade on him and he falls to a position where they can make a trade (and they know where those are) they will go up. I like Lamar Jackson but I don't see him as a fit for what the Bills seem to be trying to do at QB. I actually really like the idea of San Diego - er, I mean LA - for Jackson. I don't know if they would, since they have other needs

If you're convinced that you already have your franchise QB in the fold, and are comfortable with the depth behind him, then you go BPA at pass rusher, CB, WR, and OT (in that order). That's how I'd approach days 1 and 2...on day 3, I'm probably going straight BPA (save for specialists) Expand I know every team (GM) does it a little different but your example is spot on. I think some people believe an NFL Draft Board is list of 256 players in a row. Belichick was just on NFL Network and he even hinted that the board is made up by position and then ranked. Here is an example of a NFL Draft Board the way I see a team starting to put one together. This example shows that this team has 40 players ranked in the 1st round. The 1st round is broken up in levels as you can tell. 1
