Heitz Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Clearly going to sign him for the Shady trade that's in the works... Glad to hear this, hope the ceremony happens at the home opener, love me some Freddy!
ddaryl Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) I think the Bills should sign him to a 1 day contract with a team option for 2018 season Edited April 11, 2018 by ddaryl
Forward Progress Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Easily my favourite Bill of the past 15 years. One of the most complete RB's to play the game - such a patient runner who could see the holes developing before they opened and perhaps the best pass blocking RB I have seen. 4
transplantbillsfan Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Love it... only jersey I currently own

BringBackOrton Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) Weird that he's "working on it." What kind of contract language do they have to sort out? Never forget Whaley stabbed Freddy in the back in TC in 2015 in favor of Bryce Brown. Freddy probably doesn't retire a Bill if Whaley wasn't canned. Edited April 11, 2018 by jmc12290

Awesome moment between him and kyle if you have the time to look it up
SoCal Deek Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 This must be Richie's thinking as well! There appears to be a land rush on people wanting to retire as a Buffalo Bill. 1

I definitely think in the new stadium there should be something to commerate former Bills. Guys like Frank Lewis, Freddie, Jerry Butler that were fan favorite but not "WoFers". 2
TigerJ Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 To answer evanmachlan's question, he knows his playing career is over even though he would have liked to play longer. I think it is great to give him a chance to retire as a Bill. No, he was not one of the all time great running backs in the league, but he was surprisingly good considering where he went to college. He was a great blocker, and though not blessed with elite speed, had amazing vision. 2
