This is what I see as the teams greatest needs,

1. MLB - no one in this position yet.

2. OL- Richie and Wood retired and traded Glenn

3, WR- Benjamin and Jones have issues and everyone else sucks.

4. QB - AJ and Nate have a short track record that is not impressive.

5. CB- No depth for nickel or dime defenses

If you trade up for an unproven QB who "might" be a player and probably will not start in 2018, most of the other positions listed will be left empty dooming this team to a 4-12 season. And you probably giving away 2019 draft picks also for a QB that "might" pan out. Why not keep the picks and fill the foster and draft a two QB's like in round 2 and 5 instead and have all four compete?

12. Roquan Smith ILB Georgia

22. Mason Rudolph QB Oklahoma St

53. Frank Ragnow C Arkansas

56. James Washington WR Oklahoma St

65. Donte Jackson CB LSU

96. Brandon Parker OT North Carolina AT&T

121. Kyle Lauletta QB Richmond

166. Dorian O'Daniel OLB Clemson

187.  Austin Corbett G Nevada

I feel like I've seen this exact post before.

Hm.

No way.  This is a totally unique thread!

Anyway, I always enjoy how posters warn against drafting "unproven" QB's at the top of the draft.

By this logic, the NFL should just start the draft with round 2....

The best part this OP infamously started the "The moral of the Saints win"  (before they lost) in which he said:

"You need a great QB to win in playoffs, so Bills draft one this year. No more 2nd hand quarterbacks. "

How is Qb below Lb, guard, and a complimentary Wr?  How?  After last year I want no part of Peterman on the field.  McCarron is a career back who has not showed that he is anything more than that.  In my eyes Qb is by far the most glaring need.  Yes, Lb and Wr are a need.  They can be filled in rds 2 and 3.  I think a linebaker many are high on will be available in Rd 2 and they can find a complimentary Wr in rd 3 or later same with the remaining depth concerns.  Go where the the best players are a, 90 plus rated Qb prospect is the highest ranked players on the board especially for a team that doesn't have a starting Qb.  Who is to say Roquan Smith isnt Aaron Curry?  He was cant miss top 5, the saftest player in the draft.  Look at the Browns.  The past 20 years since they drafted Tim Couch they picked the safer player first than the Qb at 22..  That has never worked out in their favor.

Ok so if we fill holes by keeping our picks, who's to say those picks will pan out any better than trading up for a top QB? If we miss on the picks we keep, then what? We can't keep taking shots in the dark on 2nd and 3rd round QB picks hoping we  hit the bullseye in the dark. We've been trying that for over a decade minus Manuel and Losman. The common theme for this team's shortcomings has always been the same, lack of a franchise QB. Would you risk yet another failed lower round QB pick for the sake of filling holes elsewhere? No matter how many holes we have now, none is bigger than the QB position

So if you trade up to #2 and give away a lot of picks, Who is this "franchise" QB throwing to, who is going to block for him if he even sees any playing time. Josh Rosen is a statue with no blockers, concussions coming. You cannot honsetly tell me that you KNOW Rosen or Darnold are stars and Rudolph and Lauletta are busts. You can tell me Rosen will be awesome, but I can say Rudolph is Kelly 2.0.

I'm pretty sure whom said QB we draft is throwing too will be more of a factor next year. I wouldn't expect the Bills to rush into starting a rookie. This is why we have McCarron.

We want to trade up but it may not be to #2 pick. I feel they need to move into the top 6-7 in the first to get one of the 3 QB's.  (I don't think Allen, Jackson, or Mason are worth first round picks.)

So they probably wont have to give up half the draft this year and next years picks to move up. I am ok with 2 firsts this year and next years 1 to move up and get the guy they want. If possible.

I feel like that I have seen this type of response before from you.

That would be because we get repeat threads MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY.

Causality not a strong suit of yours, eh?

You’re talking like they would have to trade away ALL their picks to move up. They can move up and still most likely have one 2nd, one 3rd and their late round picks this year. Secondary needs can still be addressed.

And you want to keep these picks yet draft a 3rd rounder at pick 22. Wow.

Yes, we do in that we get a couple dozen threads on average per day of mortgaging the future for a QB.  Everybody has a right to input an opinion.  If you dislike freedom of speech then maybe you should look into moving to North Korea or Iran.
