BadLandsMeanie Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Sorry I don't even remember who said this but on my ride to work this morning they talked about the idea. We have a zillion picks this year. And we have I think 70 million in cap room for next year. So they said one option would be to fix up the team with our draft, to make it a young, solid, attractive team. Then next year just outspend the Packers by whatever it takes, to get Aaron Rodgers. They haven't got the money to match us they said. I actually liked this idea. What do you guys think? 1 3
Ramza86 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Hed be what 36 by then? I guess if you wanna make a 3 year run at it. Could be good
Chuck Wagon Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Ironic someone with a looney tunes avatar would post this. 2 5
H2o Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Rodgers is not leaving GB. They would Franchise him for 3 years before they let that happen. 8 1
DrDawkinstein Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Was this an idea by an on-air talent, or a caller? Sounds like a caller idea. If it was on-air talent they should be fired. 2
Just Joshin' Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 He has two years left on his contract - 2018 and 2019. Why would GB let him go regardless? 1
FluffHead Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I don't see him tarnishing his legacy in GB for a few extra bucks from the Bills

BuffaloBillyG Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Well, Green Bay did just trade for Kizer. They obviously intend to move on from Rodgers. They will not use the franchise tag. They will not work out a record contract. They will let him go and hope for a comp pick. Obviously. 2
Kirby Jackson Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 And we wonder where Bills fans get these ridiculous ideas.... 1
BillsInWilmingtonNC Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I heard he went to school in California so he can't play in cold weather 1 1

These are ideas from people with no clue how things actually work. They throw enough crap on the wall and hope some sticks. Edited April 11, 2018 by matter2003 1

Mat68 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Never going to happen. GB will Franchise him at minimum 2 years. The franchise tag will be a discount compared to Rodgers actual value.
