apuszczalowski Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Love the hipster trendy names they give these places today to describe something to make it sound more high end. I see housing developments for adults 55+ and they call them "adult lifestyle communities" Instead of senior or retirement communities. But around here in the north this seems to be where trends are heading with shopping centers. They are getting away from the indoor malls where stores are accessed through an inside corridor and replaced with strips of stores that are accessed through exterior walkways. The outlet mall off the QEW in Niagara on the Lake was built this way recently, and the Pen Centre in St Catharines apparently was originally built that way then covered to create an indoor mall back in the 80s I believe.
