PIZ Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Ever hear of this kid from Div. 2? Never played a down in high school. Won the Harlon Hill award in division 2 football. Cool story. 6' 3" - 220 lbs.

YoloinOhio Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I’ve never even heard of the school. Is it like Hilbert?

McD Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Nice story... the kid has the size for the position, but its hard to get a feel for him with such little film. One thing I noticed was that he seems to throw to the first option almost every time. Also, his ball seems like it lacks polish, but he seems to have a strong enough arm. He'd be a fun project.

dezertbill Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Must watch him fight for a roster spot on some other team
PIZ Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 He would be a cool story as a project, as he sits behind Buffalo Bills rookie QB Josh Rosen.
#34fan Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Saw him play in some no-name bowl game... Seems more of a CFL Fit... He has good fundamentals, but arm strength was really lacking.
poblano Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I couldn't believe it when i saw a note about him in a sport paper here in México just because he is son of a former soccer player. Just laughed because it talked about his future selection in the draft
reddogblitz Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Alma Mater of former NFL starter Wade Wilson. School used to be called East Texas State University. My brother graduated from ETSU.

DCOrange Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) There's so little film out there of him, but he looked awesome in the Division 2 title game. I was especially impressed by how he's always aware of where his check down is in case the pass rush gets to him, but all around, his ball placement in the title game was really good basically to every part of the field. Obviously we're all hoping that Buffalo can get one of the top tier prospects, but I like Perez as a Day 3 flier/UDFA guy to target. Edited April 11, 2018 by DCOrange
