I don’t think he expects to get three starters that deep... but a rb in the 5th could contribute right away and it’s not crazy to think either a corner or DB could be a rotational guy down the line. Pete Posted April 6, 2018 Share Posted April 6, 2018 I would fill our holes C-G-T-WR-MLB first with this draft. We were 9-7 and made playoffs last season- we would be much improved after this draft. Like I quoted OP in previous comment.. i am not against it.. I just don't see Beane making this trade. I pause for a moment but still make trade and take Darnold if Browns take Allen. I would not give up two # 2 for OBJ. He will cost too much and they have too many holes in the front 7. Davejr511 Posted April 6, 2018 Share Posted April 6, 2018 Even if this was an option I don't think the Giants would take it. The draft value doesn't match up nor does their asking price for Odell. Besides no way in hell do I want Odell Beckham Jr on my team! To get up to #2 spot we either have to move up one more time before trading to #2 or we could trade #12, #53, #65, 2019 2nd RD & Lesean McCoy. This way we still have #22 and a pick in each round. We filled the holes last year and this year with solid free agents, we will never be a consistent contender without a franchise QB. And so we are only getting one with some kind of a trade up.
