Paup was a great player, a great team mate, and as far as we know a good person. Romanowski can go suck it. Yep. 54 minutes ago, Irv said: Bryce Paup was only good beacause he played on the same side as Bruce who was normally quadruple teamed. Romanowski should be power slammed through a burning table. Irv has spoken. Excuse me!? How dare you!? I wholeheartedly disagree. Romanowski should NEVER be powerslammed through a burning table. That is an honor reserved for only the greatest Bills and Bills fans. I would not disgrace that honor with Romanowski. 23 minutes ago, holla83 said: Did Bryce Paup ever have another good year with the Bills after his first year? I know 17.5 sacks and defensive player of the year would be tough to follow up. But I just don't remember him making a big impact after that. First was definitely his best year, no doubt. He had many "good" years in his career, he only played 3 in Buffalo and made the pro bowl every season. He had about 50 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1-2 ints every season of his career that he was a starter. The one season in Buffalo was an outlier, career year, like one of the top "sack seasons" in NFL history (10th most total in a season, tied with a bunch of other guys for #29 all time single season, was like #12 at the time) I think he was very solid in his career, but that one season was WHOA BUDDY!!
MrEpsYtown Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Paup is the man I would hope LVE becomes our poor man's Urlacher...Bob Babich is doing his intro speech for the HOF. Since we are o close with the Bengals, here is a pretty good breakdown of LVE: https://www.cincyjungle.com/2018/3/26/17083828/nfl-draft-2018-are-the-brian-urlacher-comparisons-too-much-for-leighton-vander-esch 1

I remember it was the first time I ever saw a guy get to the QB as he was handing off and just tackle the entire backfield. QB, RB, whoever else was back there that might have the ball. Took them all down at once. 1

Played elite lights out season 1, then low end pro bowl the next 3, before he went to Jax 5 minutes ago, MrEpsYtown said: Paup is the man I would hope LVE becomes our poor man's Urlacher...Bob Babich is doing his intro speech for the HOF.
